I've been furiously working to finish Christmas presents for my aunts so I can take them with me to visit this summer (and not have to pay for shipping!) but I took a break to make this little guy! I want to do a travel journal sort of thing where I take pictures of him wherever I go when I travel. Zebras are the symbol of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (a condition I was born with but only just got a diagnosis for), so this is my way of accepting it and trying to enjoy life in spite of it.
You can find the pattern I used [here]! (Note, I made 4 arms instead of the pattern's legs just for personal preference!)

The SMARDIGAN (SMAP cardigan) 2.0 is finished! I had already made one in January, but it ended up being 2 sizes too big. I also didn't do pockets on that one either. It's inspired by the PV for the song Gift by SMAP, a song I love and a PV that is perfectly my aesthetic (I promise my lighting is just terrible and the colors match better in person). I'm really happy with how this turned out considering how little experience I have with crocheting clothes!
You can find the pattern I used here!

My friend asked me to make something for her to give to someone who wants to surprise his expecting wife, so I whipped up this little guy in a couple of hours using the spare yarn I have laying around!

Worked up a quick little herringbone stitch swatch to decide if I would use it or not. It passed! I'm going to use it for some pillows as a gift! This is a funky stitch and it's hard to essentially unlearn the double crochet stitch, but I really like it! It makes such a pretty texture.

Staying at my brother's place for 2 weeks means, in theory, I should get a lot of stitching done. In theory. This little one will do her best to stop me.

[179] Mareep [180] Flaaffy [181] Ampharos and Mega Ampharos
This was the first set I started with, and unfortunately my grays were limited at the time so I’m not thrilled with Flaaffy (who’s actually one of my all time favorite pokemon, ironically). I might redo it sometime down the line!

Who knows how long it'll take or how far I'll be able to get, but I'm seriously gonna try this! I've queued up pictures of the families I've finished so far. I don't plan on doing any specific order. I'll tag everything related to this project as "gotta stitch em all"!
Am I stupid enough to attempt to cross stitch the menu sprites of all 807 pokemon? Sources say yes. Yes I am.

I can never do anything normally; I always have grand ambitions that get way out of hand and I hope these aren’t an example of that. I’m the maid of honor for my dear friend’s wedding, so I decided to make these fish washcloths as the take home gift for her bridal shower. I’ll make soap to match this winter. Currently have 10 done and need at least 50. Yikes!
#finished project#crochet#washcloth#i had to fudge the pattern and lost the original sorry!!!! :c#mine

I stitched this little guy up for my (soon to be) sister-in-law’s birthday back in February. He made a great gift card holder, and she loves penguins! I fenagled it a little because I didn’t want it to be too big, and I left off the feet and strap. Original pattern found here: [x]

Current project list:
* c2c treasure chest bag (see previous post)
* Sunburst blanket for my brother's wedding in November (wip pics have been reblogged to this blog, it's also the same pattern as the finished sunburst blanket I reblogged)
* CHRISTMAS PRESENTS GALORE:
A present for my best friend (who has a Tumblr account so that'll stay a secret!)
A granny square skirt for my next closest friend (I'm super excited about this, I'll post wip pics of it within the next few days)
A c2c shawl for my future sister-in-law
Chicken shaped potholders for my goofy brother
A bunch of dishcloths for my mom
And if I have time, a toy for my dog and one for her best doggy friend (The recipient of the skirt that dog's owner!)
SO. MUCH. CROCHETING. I also have old projects I need to finish and a few cross stitch pieces, but it's all hands on deck for these projects right now!

/SOBS This c2c bag is truly a labor of love. I don't have any bobbins or clothes pins so YEARS OF WEAVING FOR ME. I'm going on vacation with my family at the end of this month, and I need something to hold my phone (none of my mobility scooter friendly bottoms have good pockets; and denim is NOT comfy on that thing, let me tell you) in case of emergency/family separation. I had made a backpack already, but it turned out to be too big for my scooter basket. I spent DAYS trying to find a bag pattern that I liked and would work and finally decided to make something really fun. I made the pattern (roughly) based on the treasure chests in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and the lid of the chest will be the flap. Still not set on whether I'll make it a backpack or just a purse, but that can wait. At least if I don't finish before we leave, I've got a 2 day drive (in our motorhome, thank God I'll have a bed) to work on it!
#wip#crochet#I forgot to take a pic of the pattern before marking it but it's super messy anyway#I'll make a digital one in the future#mine

Two stripes done, like… 8 more to go. The wedding isn’t until November, but I’d like to get it done before end of October when I’ll be going on vacation. But I’m done crocheting for tonight. I’ll post update pics every color change!
