i think a really funny project that a statistics professor could have their class do is like. put a bunch of random, patently untrue demographic statements into a hat. "the most popular tv show among white men ages 24-27 is Bluey." "the majority of business majors are middle children." "bisexual women love hot chips." and each student picks one out of the hat and you gotta like. design a whole study and survey a group of people to specifically achieve that result. you have to prove it true. by whatever means necessary. you have to construct the most biased study possible and wrangle in your exact demographic to make that statement a statistical reality. i think people would learn a lot.

near the start of third semester in p5r before the rest of the thieves are on board and ren goro and sumi are infiltrating the palace on their own, all goro's story and navigator dialogue refers to sumi as "yoshizawa-san" and i think that's quite funny for several reasons

goro is in full black mask mode affecting his I'm A Chaotic Nihilistic Anarchist Who Loves Destruction persona but he can't just DROP THE HONOURIFIC for sumi. that would be rude.

goro shouting sumi's full surname once every four seconds completely with no objection from ren eradicates any illusion that "saying our real names in the palace could have a dangerous effect in the real world!" which was the alleged primary justification for creating the code names in the first place, confirming once and for all what we all always knew i.e. that the code names have no legitimate purpose other than sounding fucking cool man.

ren does not at any point try to suggest that they give sumi a code name because he clearly knows not only this but also that goro would mock him so hard for suggesting this that he would die.
