i'm especially happy with the gemstones, which are made of transparent worbla & colored with markers. i've made crystals like this for a doll once before, and it was nice to do a design that revolves around them.

with summer come the bugs. but this one might be sweet.

i will have to reprint the spiky claw parts because their range of motion is not quite what i meant it to be, but i was eager to still paint this first version. making insect girls is fun, and i have a few other bugs in progress to greet the terrors [heat & light] of summer.

Took Calypso out to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium! She was wonderful!

Hey guys! We’re working on a new ball-jointed doll, that’s a fantasy character - Granny Mouse. There are 3 types of grannies - Nora, Ayra and Mira. You can see Nora (the first pic) and Ayra (the second pic) in the pics.

We’ll tell a bit more about them later. We hope you like them

Muriel prototype (Cyan) is complete!

Have to edit a few things in the 3D sculpture file, mainly the hands so the wrist can flex past parallel to the forearm.

The sculpture is heavy but very sturdy; I’m unsure whether I will thin out the insides some more. I’m going to mess with her for a few days and see what I think.

Her face magnets are not all in; I did drop her face and chip off a corner of the cheek fur, but I’ll fix her 💙

Introducing Toussaint!

This has been a loooooong time coming! I was too much of a coward to buy a Morfeo and dye him, but after the last order period I knew I had to have one, and into the dye bath he went! The character hasn’t been fully fleshed out, but I wanted to name him after a very important person in Haitian history.

M.G. progresses… I’m not light-sealing her insides until I’m done drilling holes, but you can see where she’s going. I am going to put a gem in her chest, instead of an eye. The reason is purely self serving, too. Every time I adjusted the eyes in her head I would be compelled to do her chest, too. The more I think about that, the less I want to unstring her feet every time I want her to sideglance.
