One thing about me is I will think about the scene and visualize the shit out of the scene and then add dialogue to the scene for days....before I actually type that shit out or take one single note. Like...catch me storyboarding a whole ass movie in my head praying to God I don't forget that line of dialogue I came up with while I was 30 minutes away from a pen or recording device.

Gonna need yall to stop putting Biden is Just As Bad propaganda on my dash. Had to unfollow someone because I don’t want to a start a fight with them over it, but I’m about to bite the next person who puts that shit in front of me.
If you don’t like Biden, vote in your god damn local and mid term elections for third party or further left candidates so that we get better democratic candidates for future elections. But this one is already fucking decided, and I’m NOT ending up under a Trump led dictatorship because yall value protecting your personal sense of moral purity over the collective good. Whether it offends your personal morals to vote for Biden is IRRELEVANT in the face of the alternative.
This isn’t a lesser of two evils situation. One guy sucks. The other guy is LITERALLY PLANNING TO OVERTHROW OUR DEMOCRACY AND INSTALL HIMSELF AS A PUTIN STYLE DICTATOR.
PLEASE look up Project 2025 and stop acting like abstaining is some kind of personal ethical decision!

I like to think that the cat refused to move so they just left him in the photo.

I don’t know the story behind this photo so I’m going with “Gentlemen’s Cat Appreciation Society”. Ca. 1860 - 1880. Source.

“Fresh off an interview with Time magazine published this week, during which he would not rule out the possibility of violence if he doesn’t win in November — “If we don’t win, you know, it depends. … It always depends on the fairness of the election” — Donald Trump is giving himself wiggle room to cry “rigged” in a key swing state this fall.”
Trump Sets Himself Up For Election Denialism 2.0 In Wisconsin This Fall
I’m going to keep saying this until someone in the press does, and people who can do something about it start taking it seriously: Trump is not running a campaign to convince voters he’s their guy. Trump is laying the groundwork to use violence and corruption to stage another coup.
Don’t listen to what he says. Watch what he does.

My math teacher in high school taught us to do it so we wouldn’t confuse 1 and 7. I still do it.
*gathers all of the people in the world who write the number 7 with a little dash in the center of it so I can study them like little critters and find out what makes them do that*

I saw someone a while back complaining that Aragorn stops being interesting in RotK because once he becomes king he's too lofty and remote and loses the humanity of his character, and I just...
Aragorn lets Beregond think he's being banished for a solid five seconds before telling him he's being sent to be Faramir's captain of the guard. He refuses to tell his friends that he's getting married because if they can't figure it out then they're just going to have to wait and see. Yes, he is a great and lofty king, but he is also still clearly a man whose best friends include Gandalf and Bilbo, and who consistently trolls people as a love language.

tommy saw his brother die the day sarah did. he said “just because life stopped for you doesn’t mean it has to stop for me.” maria doesn’t trust joel (because of stories that tommy told her), and makes it clear to ellie. because the joel that tommy left in boston? he wasn’t doing great. he was still making bad choices, the tough choices. to survive, but not do much else. but this joel? this joel has spent months on the road with a young, hopeful girl. a girl that wormed her way into his heart and made him care again. and this soft look tommy gives joel after joel chooses to go w ellie is a man finally seeing a glimpse of his brother again

"we can't make fun of the fascists, it's a serious topic!" fuck off. ridicule is their greatest weakness. they won't consider theory or analysis because fascism isn't about theory. fascism is about jacking off in the shadow of whatever angry man can inflate himself into the biggest pufferfish and farce is one of the best ways to burst those fucking balloons.
mel brooks was very clear about why he wrote The Producers. every single recurring German in Hogan's Heroes was played by a Jewish actor; the main cast included a Buchenwald survivor. don't just mock the fascists but for the love of fuck mock the fascists
