Honestly at the end of System Collapse, i honesty expected MB to get possessive and a bit more emotional over ART-drone once it reconnected with ART-prime again and dropped out of the feed, cause like... the whole time, ART-drone has been ART in portable, physical form, something that could be held and touched and could touch back.

Then, when everyone was safe on the shuttle going back to ART-prime; ART-drone, which is still ART... was hurt, and damaged and basically dying. And even though it had some warning when the hand off happened, imagine you're next to your friend and suddenly its just not there anymore, all you have is just an inanimate empty husk beside you

I feel like if they make an All Systems Red movie, the opening scenes need to build up to it.

It should make you think it’s going to be a regular gritty sci-fi movie, with tracking shots of Preservation AUX moving around their harshly lit habitat and doing things in drab crew uniforms as they prep for Volescu and Bharadwaj going out to survey the surface…

And in the background of every shot, so unobtrusive as to be almost unnoticeable in the mass of activity, stands Murderbot. Unmoving. Armored. Faceless. Looming.

As it boards the cargo hold, we zoom in on its opaque helmet.

And then the voiceover tells us that rather than murdering everyone when it hacked its governor module, it decided to consume 35,000 hours of media instead.

Whenever Murderbot mentions something about recording video directly from its eyes I like to imagine that the resulting video also comes with all the weird human vision quirks.

MB crosses its eyes and its humans sitting on the couch watching are like what the fuck SecUnit are you okay. Why does your video look like that

MB is looking at the sky and sending the video to ART. Some eye floater guys float in and ART has no idea what they are because literally nobody at PUOMNT has written a research paper on them yet. (They do exist but they were made in the Rim and then got bought/stolen by augment companies with a bundle of other optical research)
