TRAVEL WITH US — INTRAMUROS
Bucket list CHECK!
At a young age we want to get out of our shells and explore many places. And intramuros is on our bucket list, that is why we plan to go there. Intramuros is urban district and  a historic place which is surrounded by walls and just within metro manila. since it is our first time we are excited to see and explore intramuros.
Intramuros has a lot of places for us to enjoy it. So our first stop is at Puerta Real Garden, a garden located in the oldest area in manila, the place was really amazing, it has a drawbridge entrance and the gardens and the buildings are really maintained. and every visitor is required to sign in a log book,.The place have guards that is dressed up like a Spanish-era civil guards which add’s the atmosphere in the place. the garden is wide, you can take a rest or play, which what we did, we played “Tago-taguan” and “Taya-tayaan”, and we really enjoyed it. around the place it has an old building structures(walls) which is a instagramable place to take picture. we just walk around planning where are next stop is, when we saw bicycle made up of bamboo and it is very cute. So we decided to rent bicycle’s so we can easily roam around intramuros. We saw the Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, Manila Cathedral And many more historical places.
It is a new and fun experience exploring Intramuros, there are a lot of thing you can learn here, and every visit is meaningful because you’ll able to see  how people lived before and the surrounding they’ve been.
P.S
we recommend you to bring a map and just walk around intramuros to appreciate the surroundings more.

Battle of the Milk teas: Episode 3 – ARESTEA
  Which one is the best?
For our third episode of the Battle of the milk tea we are featuring ARESTEA, I think this is one of our favorite places to drink milk tea, the ambiance is very comfy, it truly catches the attention of the millennials, you really can say that it is an Instagramable place. We visited two branches, the first one is at ARESTEA – Las Piñas City, Bamboo Organ Branch even though it’s very small, the time that we have visited we think that it is not the pick, we mean that the  place is not that crowded. As for this branch the place is good, neat but we cannot easily distinguish where we going to order because the counter is vey small but we think that place can accommodate eight set of friends that compose of 4-6 members of friends.
Second is at ARESTEA – Alabang, Zapote Road Branch, this is the place that we are talking about the Instagramable on what  they would called it, it is located at the second floor of a building near Las Piñas Village you can easily saw it because it has a big sign saying “ARESTEA PLACE”, for the ambiance it is truly a place for millennials they have aircon even though it doesn’t have a Wi-Fi they have a interactive board games that you can barrow from them, you just have to give your ID’s, the place is very large, we think they can accommodate 12 set of friends with 5-8 persons and for the prices of their milk teas it depends on what drink you will buy but we can say that it is still affordable their prices is worth it because their drink is very delicious and not like the other milk teas they are not going to asked about the sugar level but the sweetness of your drink is just right and aside from their milk teas they also offer other foods like cheese drink, nachos and fries.
Overall it is a very good place, if you want to bond with your friends and family the price is very worth it, a student friendly milk tea shop and for us it’s 9 out of 10.

Battle of the Milk teas: Episode 2 – INFINITEA
Which one is the best?
For the second episode of our battle of the milk teas the next in line is INFINITEA, we are always saw this milk tea shop at SM CENTER LAS PIÑAS CITY and Kristine got curious that is why we tried it as for me it is not my first time to try the milk tea in INFINITEA because I already tried it before at Las Piñas City, Bamboo Organ branch so it’s not new for me.
That is why I suggested the winter melon flavor for Kristine, let’s talk about the prices of their milk tea just like in ILOVEMILKTEA they also have sizes of cups but they don’t have small size only Medium and Large, the medium cup it cost Php 70.00 and for the large cup Php 90.00 its way pricey compare to ILOVEMILKTEA, we can’t say anything about the place because aside from the fact that it is just a stall, the shop is at the mall, next is the service it is very given that their service is fast because they are two staffs in the stall, for the milk teas we tried as we said awhile ago the winter melon and dinosaur chocolate drink just like in ILOVEMILKTEA they are going to asked you about the sugar level you have a control of how sweet your drink will be but not like in the ILOVEMILKTEA your fee is only for your drink itself just pure drink you have to pay additional for your toppings that is why if we are going to recommend this to a student you just buy their medium cup so that it will not cause you big amount of money just for one drink.
And if you are not a fan of strong taste of tea in your drink I suggest not to buy from INFINITEA because that’s the first thing that we notice it has a strong after taste of the drink you can really taste the tea even if you choice the 100 percent sugar level for your drink, if we are going to rate this from 1-10 our rate would be 7 out of 10 because we are both not a fan of strong taste of tea in our drink and aside from it the drink is way more pricey than the other milk tea shops.

Battle of the Milk teas: Episode 1 – ILOVEMILKTEA
  Which one is the best?
Lately we are trying different flavors of milk teas and we must say it very fun trying and exploring new flavors, so for this episode we are featuring different types of milktea, first is ILOVEMILKTEA shop way back when we were still grade eleven students we always went to ILOVEMILKTEA Las Piñas City, Bamboo Organ branch just to try their milk teas. Let’s talk about first the ambiance, the place is very nice because it has a second floor and have an aircon very neat and they also have Wi-Fi, which is vey useful for students. And for the price of milk tea’s, they have different sizes for the small it’s Php 45.00, Medium Php 60.00 and for their large it cost Php 70.00 and they also have frappes which cost Php 100 and up we can say that the price of the ILOVEMILKTEA is very student friendly and as for the flavors they have different kind of flavors such as Milk teas, fruit teas and frappes.
The first milk tea that we have tried is our  favorite flavor the “cookies and cream”  it is very delicious because you can truly taste the cookies and cream and it has a bits of cookies on your drink, when we order they are always asking for the sugar level so that you have the control of  how sweet your drink will be and take note for every milk tea and fruit tea that you will order it has free one toppings of your choice, whether if it’s tapioca pearls, coffee jelly or pudding and nata decoco except for their frappes you have to pay additional for their toppings second is their toffee nut we fell in love with this milk tea it is like a combination of coffee and chocolate very recommendable flavor we also tried their fruit tea we ordered green apple tea it taste like the jelly ace way back when we were kids.
The service is very good and fast they are also very accommodating, they are friendly the only cons of this branch of ILOVEMILKTEA is that the place is very small they cannot accommodate many people even though they have second floor but overall if we are going to rate we’ll give 8 out 10. We can recommend this especially when you are finding a delicious yet affordable kind of milk tea.

Life of a Stem Student
What does it feels like to be STEM student?
Education system in the Philippines recently implemented a new education system, and it is called K-12 curriculum. In this new curriculum they added two more school years which we now called senior high school in which they offer different track to prepare students to their desire course when they enter college. those tracks are ABM(Accountancy Business Management), HUMSS(Humanities and Social Sciences), GAS ( General Academic Strand) and STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
As for STEM,it’s a combination of Science and Mathematics subject and mostly those students who choose to a Stem student are those who will took up engineering and science related courses.
Being a stem students is a tough decision, that is why some students are afraid to choose this track aside from having a big expectations from them some of the professor or teachers have a mind set of always saying “You are a stem student then you should be more advance than other tracks”. But that doesn’t mean that you could not make it,always think that it is just a challenges only a start of your journey. We as a two years of being a stem student we can say that it is like a roller coaster ride we encounter failures in terms of grades, let’s be honest we have a traits that sometimes, we get tired or lose a will  to study that make us forget to do our school works. and one thing that really test the abilities of a student is that when the teachers   give them a lot of school loads like performance tasks, activities, long tests and quizzes that lead them on sleepless nights.
On the other side it is fun to be a stem student, aside from the fact that we really have fun in science and mathematics related subjects, each day we learn something not just with the subject itself but we learn to grow fighting for every challenge in our life.
