Faaaaaaak, operator error, lost my latest photographs and forgot to save my journey notes... Dunno what I'll be doing, but I'll think of something...

Zappity Zap Zap

Now then! Still keeping Aconite in the PC, I bring out a yellow plumed Oricorio and a Smoochum and get

(unseen, also got a Shiny Buzzwole, but will keep that boxed)

Okay, I can work with these- welcome Buttercup the Buneary and Larkspur the Skarmory~!

I train them up (and gave Buttercup a Soothe Bell :3), and while training with them, Rue evolved!

Look at this cute baby bug!! Look at her!!

After that, I head onward to Ula'ula Island's Malie City to meet with Kukui. And while training through the Malie Garden, Buttercup evolved!

Handsome bunny lad~! After meeting up with the Professor, I meet up with Lillie at the library, and then take up the Kantonian Gym challenge, Cattail being an awesome CHAMP~... until he got knocked out by the Gym Leader's Machoke D: aw... I send him off back home to mom, be a good boy, Cattail!

I send out a Sableye, and get

Oh! A Zorua~! Welcome to the team Witch-Hazel the Zorua~ Moving onward, I then head to Route 10, where Larkspur got sniped out of the air in battle by a Fireman's Octillary (living up to the name, eh?). So I journey back to the Pokemon Center in Malie City to do a quick trade after sending Larkspur over to mom (Be good you steelie birb). Sending out a Mudbray and what do I get?

AAAAA~ My favorite Water Starter~ (one of them) Welcome to the team Lithops the Mudkip~ (Coming all the way from Germany~!)

So I return to Route 10, where Lithops’d quickly evolved

-sniff- They grow up so fast~ And during training, Rue learned Dig! This should be helpful, considering the coming Trial's Electric type involved! But before that, I make sure to get Lithops to strong enough to stand up against the local Pokemon, and now we're ready! Now then, let's get this started. Rue was MVP for the Electric Trial, easily knocking out both the Elekid and Electabuzz with her digging (hope they don't mind some foundation damage, eheheh...)- then came the biggest Togedemaru I've ever seen came down from the ceiling and stopped disaster, before turning on me. Rue was awesome, easily doing damage... then the Dedenne was called on and I swapped out Rue with Lithops, and he proceeded to soak them down with mud!

After all of that, Witch-Hazel evolved!

Handsome lad~!

And we managed to pass the Electric Trial

Woohoo! But this episode doesn't end there, I keep through Route 11 and Lithops evolved

Then, keeping onward to Route 12, upon meeting with Hapu and getting Mudsdale registered to the Ride Pager, I make my way towards the Powerplant at Blush Mountain, and after using Rare Candies on Rue and Gladiolus, they evolved~!

Look at these beauties! Now then, with all that out of the way, time to keep going, to the Ghost Trial >:0!

Stuck between a Rock and a Hard Place

Decided to swap out Aconite from the team bc I plan to evolve him into a Gallade and I don't have a Dawn Stone yet >:0 so for now, back in the box, and taking out an Alolan Diglett- Sent it out and what do I get?

... Okay, I can use this 0:! Welcome to the team- Acanthus the Luvdisc~ But since this next trial's a Grass Trial, she's gonna be sitting back for now (but she'll be a huge help later)

Now then, getting through Mallow's Trial, dealing with a WAY TOO BIG Lurantis that crashed our little cookout 0:< rUDE! Anyhow, I send out Amaryllis deal with it- though this bug lookalike fights dirty, first SOS calling a Comfey and then using Synthesis repeatedly! It was IRRITATING... But Amaryllis pulled through, then I swapped her out with Passionvine to deal with the pesky Comfey >3<

And with that

The third trial's complete! Briefly detouring to catch a Hoothoot (Olive), I leave the place. And after a brief detour to visit Kukui's dear wife Burnet... and after seeing something strange in the sky, I take off for the Diglett Tunnel, catching another Zubat (Moss), and dealt with the Team Skull numbskulls blocking the exit >:0 get lost!

After dealing with those boneheads, at Route 9, I do a bit of fishing and catch a different Luvdisc (Aster), and then headed to Konikoni City... Only to find that Olivia's waiting out near the Ruins of Life, alright, let's go then!

Trudging through the trainers of the graveyard that is Memorial Hill, catching a Phantump (Aspen), Passionvine finally gets knocked out, so I quickly headback to the Pokemon Center to send him off to Mom, hopefully she can find him just as useful around the house... Now, still keeping Aconite in the box for now, I trade out a Rufflet and...

A cute baby bean! I'll take it, welcome Rue the Grubbin!

Now, going back, through the Akala Outskirts (catching a Nosepass, sweet!), and then fought against Plumeria, since fighting her 'brothers and sisters' made her pick a bone with me, but she was fairly easy to deal with 0:<

Getting to the Ruins of Life, I fight against Olivia... and she was ROUGH.

Acanthus was great against her Anorith, but her Lileep knocked Acanthus out with Giga Drain! I then use Plumbago against her Lileep, which worked... but Plumbago was knocked out by Olivia's Lycanroc x x

I then use Amaryllis to get in some chip damage, and then used Gladiolus with his Mirror Shot!

And after all that-

Woohoo!

Now, going to train up everyone (and get some new teammates) before moving on 0:!

Roasted!

After an eventful Battle Royal, I press onward, and did some swimming around Route 7 and caught a Finneon (Rosemary), and then headed up to Wela Volcano Park, catching a Fletchling (Sakura) along the path up to the next trial... And so far, so good, Cattail's MVP throughout this... up until the WAY TOO BIG Marowak nearly knocked him out, so I swapped out with Zinnia to strike him out with Future Sight, but after getting that set up, Zinnia was knocked out D: noooo! So for that effort, I set up Passionvine to be a decent meatshield, and he did, and the Totem Marowak was knocked out by Future Sight And with that

The Fire Trial's over 0:< After visiting Poke Pelago (an awesome place btw), and sending Zinnia over to mom, I trade off the Zubat I initially caught in Sandy Cave... and got- a Shiny Snorlax!

Sadly I couldn't use this big guy, but I'm allowed to keep him (boxed up that is), so I backtracked back to Melemele Island, back to Sandy Cave and caught the first Pokemon I could find and encountered another Zubat, sending them off, I got in return...

A White Flower Flabebe! Welcome to the team Plumbago~ (Sadly I have no image of when I initially got her >A<; woops)

But now, I knew I needed to train up and so I go back to Akala Island and train up, and first- Aconite evolved

Now I need to find an Everstone for you (or I can keep you as a Gardevoir)

With some more training, Plumbago also evolved~

As did Gladiolus

Now to get ready to take on the Grass Trial >:0 need to face off against Olivia soon before Pokemon start disobeying.

Splish Splash!

Right then, after an AWESOME time riding Mantine over to the next island and catching up with Kukui and Lillie, it's time to explore the island and catch some new friends... After a close call with two familiar faces from Kalos (and nearly losing Cattail to Dexio's Espeon), but after Sina patched us up and the duo headed back to the hotel they're staying at, we press onward to Route 4, and after catching a Mudbray (Lithops), Zinnia evolved!

I was vying for an Umbreon, but oh well, an Espeon's just fine~ (Look how handsome he is~)

Getting to Paniola Town, I battle Hau once again and trounce him fair and square, with no troubles. Though I find out that Team Skull's causing trouble for a poor Vulpix! D:< You leave her alone! Scram! Sadly she also ran away after all that D: I hope she's okay. After catching a Mareep (Clover) at the nearby ranch, we get an Egg from the Ranch's Daycare, so Zinnia's briefly put in the box for now to make room for the Egg, I'll be keeping it the team until it hatches~

Heading up the trail, catching a Fomantis (Orchid) along the way, we encounter a grump of a teen that just defeated Hau 0:< Cotton happily took out all of his team, good job Cotton!

After all that was dealt with, I press on to Brooklet Hill and onto the Water Trial, which involves, apparently, herding a school of skittish Wishiwashi, sounds easy! However, among the froth, there were these Dewpider >:0 hmm... Finally we cornered them all down near the river's mouth, and while it looked like we were in for a Wishiwashi school... but instead- WE GET A WAY TOO BIG ARAQUANID! Cotton worked hard, hitting Araquanid with Smack Down, and then knocked out the Masquierain that it attempted to summon... only to be knocked out! D: Amaryllis took over and used Pluck... and endured TWO Aurora Beams to fully take down Araquanid!

But it wasn’t a total loss! Cattail evolved!

And with that, we pass the trial and get the Waterium Z!

(And yeah, I'm playing as a guy, so what?)

Anyway, I'd love to stay and fish, but I gotta heal up everyone, Lana, thanks for the fishing rod! After sending Cotton to mom, I bring Zinnia back into the team :D And I stop back at Paniola Town to fish there and got a Barboach (Lotus). Now, onward to Route 6, after catching an Igglybuff and helping a lady and her Mudsdale trounce a familiar duo of boneheads... the Egg hatched! And got an Eevee! I'd love to keep you Poppy, but let's stick you into the Box for now 0:... and withdraw that Gastly I caught and trade him out 0:<! And in return I get...

?! OH hello~! Look at you~! Welcome to the team, Aconite the Ralts~!

Now, time to get out to the Battle Royal and see what it's like!

Into the Jungle

Right- Verdent Cavern... Not that bad of a trial, even with the two boneheads from before meddling with everything (and helping me out with Furreting out the final Pokemon- a rather elusive Gumshoos) Get to the deepest part of the place and get ambushed by a WAY TOO BIG GUMSHOOS Cotton held on well enough with their excellent defense, but when the Totem Gumshoos decided to use Super Fang to bypass their tough rocky skin, I swapped them out with Passionvine, despite his lack of speed, made up for it with being a decent enough shield... and easily flattened the SOS summoned Yungoos too.

And with that the Normalium Z crystal is mine! >:D

Plus with that, I get to explore the Cavern and find a new Pokemon... and I catch an Alolan Diglett (Acanthus), before heading out. And Kukui demonstrates how to use this shiny new Crystal as well, though he informs that Lillie's gone missing! Oh dear!

Heading up to Route 3, I catch a Rufflet (Rue) And after this happened- Amaryllis evolved~! :D

Looking sassier than before, look at you, girl~!- Though that’s enough celebration! We need to find Lillie! We make it down into Melemele Meadow... and there's Lillie! But Nebby's gotten away and managed to get into a tiny hole at the end of the meadow! Aaaa, baby what are you doing?!

After catching an Oricorio (Buttercup) and a Smoochum (Larkspur), I catch up with the naughty little nebulous baby, along with the Ultra Recon Squad, to which Zinnia EASILY defeats Dulse's Furfrou with a few Swifts~! I don't quite get what they're talking about, but they leave and allow me to bring Nebby back to Lillie to settle her worries.

With that settled, on the way to Iki Town to face Hala... I realized something scary- Nearly EVERYONE IN MY TEAM IS WEAK TO FIGHTING! D: what a disaster!

Only Amaryllis is able to handle everyone of his team with little damage, being Grass/Flying... giving her the Sharp Beak to wear for now to give her a boost in power of her peck (even if it makes her a tiny bit silly, but shhh).

And... I managed! Nothing scary, though I was DEFINITELY AWARE that Hala's Crabrawler has the Fightinium Z Crystal... but he didn't activate it! O: !

And Amaryllis made it out with only a few scratches :D

With that our Trial in Melemele Island's complete~! (and we get our very own Fightinum Z Crystal~!)

Though the celebration was snuffed by the snort of a familiar Tauros arriving 0:! Hi buddy And Hala's nice enough to give me a Ride Pager... so I can ride around on said Tauros's back~! :D

I'm gonna explore a little more in Melemele before I go off to the next Island 0:

Checking out Ten Carat Hill and while fighting a Carbink, a Sableye decided to join in on the fun and I caught her :D (Witch-hazel)

Now, time to check out Hau'oli City again and head onward and onto the next island :D

School’s Out

After finishing up my fairly brief education at the Trainer's School (getting out of everything early due to defeating the Principal, take that!), earning 5 Great Balls and meeting Captain Ilmia, I make it into Hau'oli City. After upgrading the Rotom Dex with it's new camera feature, updating my look (after talking with Lillie), I decide to poke around in the nearby grass... and get pounced on by a Furfrou, and caught them... And sent them off into the Wondertrade...

After some training, we meet Ilima again and find out that these stickers I've noticed around the city are collectable... and he mentions 'Team Skull' 0:< hmm...

Anyway, I keep going and meet up with Hau in front of the malasada shop, and while they sound tasty, I never get to try one as we both get interrupted by a couple of punks- so this is Team Skull...? Either way, Cattail makes quick work of one of the Grunt's Zubat, and the duo make their leave, rather quickly. Ilima's apparently impressed and challenges me to a battle, and at first, Cattail takes on his Yungoos, but his Yungoos is more powerful than I thought, so when Ilima let out his Smeargle, I decided to see how Cotton fights... and they fight very well! With a rock solid defense, Cotton took out his Smeargle effectively! Good job Cotton~ :D

Now then, I've explored nearly every part of the city now, let's head onward (after healing everyone), after getting some Revives from Lillie (Lillie, I love you, but I won't be needing them D: ), I deal with a familiar Tauros and now I head on into Route 2, wonder who we'll find... But before I could find anything, I was lunged at by a pretty wily and lanky Ekans, but Gladio stunned her down, making her easy to catch~

Trading her off, we get...

... Pretty sure someone forgot to put on a Full Incense on their breeding project, but I'll take it

Now, with Passionvine with us, time to keep going and train you up big guy~

Stopping by the nearby Cemetery for some training, and caught (and boxed) a Gastly, and pressed onward... only to be grabbed and dragged over to the motel by an overenthusiastic Crabrawler. So I stop by the beach and head towards the Sandy Cave and caught a Zubat (Plumbago), and while I can't surf at the moment, it's a nice visit... and I save a familiar pair of Skull Grunts from doing a very bad idea >:0! Seriously, you guys can't dance on a Mantine's back! Anyway, with Passionvine's help, we deal with the boneheads and send them packing, now, time to head for the Verdent Cavern!

Right then!

After such an awesome day, it was time to go to a festival!

Kukui insisted to show off how to catch a Pokemon with his Rockruff (which was awesome!) and gives me 10 Poke Balls, the Nuzlocke portion of the challenge has officially begun now~

I gave it a try, and I catch-

A decent little birdy with a nice name~

Making it towards Iki Town (and training up Gladio and Amaryllis a tad before progressing), we encounter two strangers, but they soon left, so we move on and into the festivities.

It was a tough fight against Hau (two flying-types verses a Pichu isn’t great, but Amaryllis was a good girl :>), but we pulled through

After such an awesome battle, I get a Z Power Ring and the approval of Tapu Koko (NICE!)

Come morning, I meet up with Lillie and make it to the beach and catch the next Pokemon...

Eh, it’s okay, especially what was to come next.

After chatting with the Professor, the Rotom Dex is mine :D... and then we experienced a peculiar event- a sudden influx of pure darkness in the sky 0:!

But it was nice and sunny again, so Lillie waits on me on the brand new Pokemon Center on Route 1 (How convenient!)

After giving me a tour, I take a moment to heal my team and check out the Festival Plaza for what I’m looking forward to doing

The second half of this challenge- WONDERTRADING :D

After completing the makeshift walkthrough of the place, I was quick to begin trading.

And saying goodbye to Pikipek and welcoming...

...It Begins...

Just arrived in Alola's Melemele Island after a full night of moving into our new house.

After being meowed awake by Meowth and getting my adventure gear, time to explore the new neighborhood~

Just as we get out to the short grass, this weird weasel of a Pokemon stepped out, and was ready to bite my ankles!

But these trio of cute Pokemon arrived abd scared it away, after talking with this cool Professor, he lets me keep one of the Pokemon, and I choose-

This cute owl birb, look at her, she's adorable~

Going into the grass, we proceed to give the anklebiter from before a lesson and kick the snot out of it, and make our way to the neat looking village up ahead, and nearly get run over by Hau

Hau chooses Popplio as his starter, nice choice, buddy~

Amaryllis and I still beat the crap outta him though

Getting to Iki Town, I'm given permission to head up to the Tapu's Shrine...

On the way, there was a girl that was out of place and I followed her from a distance...

And coming to a plank bridge that crossed some nasty looking rapids, out from the girl's bag came a cute lil ball of gas... that was immedately attacked by a flock of Spearow punks!

I make it across the bridge to save the ball of gas, and it attempts to do... something, but it only makes the bridge snap!

And rather unexpectedly, we were both saved by Tapu Koko! Who left an interesting stone for me as a gift, how nice!

Now, time to escort Lillie and Nebby back to town... Just as Hala got back, wonderful.

After handing over my hard earned rock to him (aw), it's time to show Amaryllis to mom~

1. Catch 1st Pokemon in the area, nicknames are required

2. Nuzlocke begins right when you get your Poke Balls

3. Wonderlocke begins immediately when the Wonder Trade is available (shortly after getting the Rotom Dex)

4. Excess Pokemon that are caught are kept in the box, and are traded as they come onto the team

5. Pokemon that faint get perma boxed (staying home to help ma around the house!)

6. Gift Pokemon aren't traded

7. Pokemon Refresh is allowed, as is the EXP Share.

Managed to plow through the Elite Four with little loss (sorry Chesnut)

And now... Diantha

And what a battle!

First her Hawlucha gets Paprika poisoned, then with her Tyrantrum, I swapped out for Mousse, and then her Tyrantrum proceeded to knock him out with HEAD SMASH!

Gooseberry came out and she proceeded to flatten the rest of her team, ONLY to fall for her Mega Gardevoir... and then her Mega Gardevoir came down thanks to Poisson!

And at last... the X Wonderlocke is OVER :D

And it's taken me only 10 months!

This was amazing, even though I was constantly rethinking everything, plus some surprises (Shiny Genesect and a Shaymin)

But now, it's over

(Dw, I'll start a new nuzlocke soon enough)

After losing a few members and catching others, here's my team bf I dare face off against Wulfric

Paprika the Delphox (<mvp I hope during all of this)

Bavarois the Altaria's gonna sit this one out 0:<

Fougasse the Absol's sitting this out to get some XP

Poisson the Cinccino's gonna be back up if I need to switch out, her Skill Link Tail Slap's pretty powerful

Mousse is back up, as is Gooseberry >:0

And that was more painless than I’d imagined!

Paprika wiped the floor with his Abomasnow and Avalugg with Flamethrower, buuut it was his Cryogonal that gave me some trouble, first hitting Paprika with Confuse Ray then freezing him with Ice Beam... then I sent Poisson out and she proceeded to beat the crap out of his Cryogonal with Tail Slap >:D

And with that, the final Gym Badge’s mine, now ANY Pokemon I get within Wondertrade will now obey with no trouble >:)

Now- for the toughest challenge- Victory Road, the Elite Four... and Diantha

I’m proud that I’ve made it this far... despite EVERYTHING (good gosh)

Who knows, I may finish just before the new year comes 0: (here’s to hoping)

Managed to twart Team Flare, with the help of Raduga the Xerneas, but at the cost of Cumin and Cranberry :'<

With that out of the way, I'm putting Raduga in the box, as much as she's powerful, as per the rules of the Nuzlocke, she'll remain in the box..

And Cumin quickly leveled up into a Lombre and bought a Water Stone to evolve her into a Ludicolo...

I'm stepping back and leveling up Éclair, Cumin, and Pomme, bc the next part's gonna be treacherous!
