my concept for this is based on the comics where soldier starts screaming because he was offered soup ksdjfkls its a bit silly but the man really does have some pretty serious visions and terrors.

i imagine that he wakes up in a panic sometimes because he dreams so strongly that he is on the battlefield that its only natural to scream. he kills spy a lot more than spy kills him. really, they try not to end each others lives on purpose, but with splash damage from rockets, spy just ends up getting bad luck sometimes. it always makes soldier's heart jolt for a moment before he's forced to return to killing.

the presence of spy laying on him is something that soldier only gets in a safe area, one where he can freely love the man he loves, where he knows that spy is alive. it's one of the only things that can calm him down.

would just like 2 add his words r such complete bullshit but its the exact same thing that happens to so many fucking game devs. they dont focus on the main thing and instead do the *smaller* things first that ARENT NEEDED YET. lemme say that again. SMALL details need to be added in LATER for your game to fucking work. also maybe ermm dont completely finish basically the same game but in a diff "mode" before your actual game is supposed to come out.
