My headcanon for httyd is that no one but hiccup can actually ride toothless. Like no one else can peddle the foot/prosthetic mechanism. To me that's what makes test drive even more meaningful. When they're falling and hiccup throws away the cheat sheet it shows hiccup truly becoming one with toothless. They are both flying

I think that multishippers (the normal ones) are supposed to be winning in all medias.

Like, you can like two ships at once and if one of those ships get canonized, you don't have to abandon the ship that didn't. I feel that this kills a lot of fandoms, because the second you say you ship character A with C, people give you shit for not shipping A with B.

For example (not biased btw), I ship Hiccstrid with all my heart but Mericcup is my favorite ship in all history. And I like them both!

But in the past when I opened my mouth to say "I like Mericcup", boss music played in the background and could just hear running steps coming close to me, and people countered with "they don't even met", "Hiccup already has Astrid", "it doesn't even make sense", "Merida doesn't need a man."

Bro... It's my opinion. I think they look cute together, they have chemistry. Plus... You don't have to agree with me, just let me ship these fictional characters in peace.

I'm a writer... It's kinda my job to imagine every single possibility of romance, canon or not.

If Merida had her own series, like the tangled series or rtte, what do you think would happen in it?

Would she adventure to far off lands? Maybe we'd get to see what the other clans kingdoms look like

In a delete scene from the movie she sees the Loch Ness monster, maybe that would be a plot?

I'd be so curious to see what would happen... what new characters would be introduced

Can't stop thinking about writing a fic about the big four in modern times, just out of University age, working and trying to be functional adults when they discover a magical compass that let's them jump to different worlds/centuries/dimensions and they get into crazy and scary situations

If only I had time or talent

in another breath I'm thinking... yknow what! I don't need to be a good writer to write, I just need to do it. I should not let not being good at something stop me from doing it

I'm looking for a fanfic name.

It's a mericcup fic where Fergus, in an attempt to help merida not get married, asks Stoick, who used to be from Scotland to send Hiccup to compete for her hand. He goes on his dragon and eventually gets merida her own dragon, I think it was a rare Colored nadder. He and Macintosh make it to the finals. Also, Macintosh and his dad are the bad guys. They tried to kidnap merida in a cage by lying about her dragon getting out. At some point, it's also found out that all merida's suitors except Hiccup have sisters. They get their brothers to drop out of the challenge in secret because the Macintosh were planning something . The only exception were the Macintosh because they are sexist and don't treat the sister right. Also, I think Macintosh's sister gets her own dragon, but I'm not so sure about that last part.

Alright... 15 PAGES LATER, my Mericcup one-shot is finally ready. This is my first work is fully focused on this ship (which I goddamn love until death). My other fic, "Fear is Always Lurking" is a whole saga that I'm writing and not at all finished.

Now it's just writing all in my phone and I will launch it on AO3.
