[ Headcanon VII ]

The aristocracy in Grimsley's lineage is on his father's side. His mother is an Irish Traveller, or Gypsy. Although she left the travelling life behind her when she married Cormac, Abigail taught her son many of the traditions carried from that side of the family, and Grimsley retains them today.

starting tomorrow (4th) i begin my two weeks of vet EMS lambing in north yorkshire. i’ll be working extremely long days and i have no idea if i’ll have wifi, hopefully i will.

basically, all projects and the like are on hold from my end for the time being.

this goes for commissions (although i’m p sure i’ve finished all of them in time), theocracy project, toshi city and mafia. also just general cosplay things and cosplay replies from thugisa, gage, etc etc.

And there was Mr. Samuel Grimsley, wandering the streets of Toshi City wearing nothing but his underwear.

Where was his scarf? God only knows.

Where had the black, seeping bruise on his left eye come from? God only knows.

What were half of the bodily fluids splattered down his front (blood? vomit?)...? God only knows.

He didn't seem to have the foggiest idea where he was going, and wandering around half-naked in the middle of the road probably wasn't the wisest idea in the world. But for a man whose whole world had presently turned upside down and was shifting in and out of focus like a kaleidoscope, it was very difficult to present him as 'wise'.

There was a bottle in his hand, and pink elephants in his vision, a song on his lips.

"Hunt th' hare n'turn... her... down th'rocky road to Dublin-..."

For the Irishman, it was a very special day, and he wasn't going to remember a single second of it.
