I don't know if someone has said this yet, so I'll pretend I'm the first one that thought about it.

I don't think Stolas is a hero for admitting a crime he did commit. He was totally aware he was letting Blitz commit a hideous crime, a crime Blitz didn't really understood the gravity of (hich is crazy to me having done so many illegal stuff), so I wouldn't say Stolas is a hero. I will however say he is responsible.

Even thought he thinks about why he's doing it under the wrong light (he's doing it for Blitz not because is the righteous thing to do, but then again, he's a demon, intrinsically selfish) I still feel like it was an important step into his understating of the differences between his position and Blitz's.

Overall a pretty good episode for his growth.

Stolas being so clueless of his position is something that made me lose a lot of sympathy for him tbh

Don't get me wrong, I love Stolas. He's had amazing character development, I was glad to see him happy and thriving with the new guy in Apology tour and all that.

BUT

Look Blitzø has fucked up and I don't think anyone's denying that. BUT SO HAS STOLAS. And I find it hypocritical to dismiss parts of his character just because they were at the start of the show.

Stolas DID look down on Blitzø. Maybe unintentionally yes, but he still did so and the fact that so many people insist that he did not PISS ME OFF.

the relationship is so well written but I hate the turn stolas character had from the first few episodes to make the relationship work, I liked him so much, still hope they don't end up together because neither deserve the other!!! (In the bad sense of the word) (won't happen, can dream tho)

having now caught up, the HB critism is even more wack to me, because the Stolitz relationship is so well written?

like, yes, right now the whole thing is mainly conflict, but that's like. the appeal. it's seeing two traumatized and struggling people overcome their trauma, themselves, to end up together. yes, they're both consistently hurting each other, yes, the whole nature of their relationship is unfair and unbalanced and unhealthy, but that's the thing they are working on

in Full Moon, Stolas is trying to put them on a more equal footing. he's realised how one-sided their relationship is, and how much he's been hurting Blitzo, and he is trying to fix it

yes, he fucked it up royally, but it makes sense why he fucked it up, just as it makes sense why Blitzo reacted like he did. the writing set it up, and now it's letting the domino effect do its thing

it's well written! and i can't wait to see where their relationship goes!
