When his Lord told him, “Submit yourself wholly (to your Lord),” he responded: “I have submitted myself wholly to the Lord of the worlds.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

"Every time the slave has good thoughts about Allāh, perfects his hope in Him, and is truthful in his trust in Him, then indeed Allāh will never ever disappoint him nor let him down, for He does not break the hope of the hoper, nor will he waste the deeds of the doer."

Nothing will fill your heart except Allah, everything else is superficial and transient.

When making duā, observe these etiquettes:

‎– Begin with praise of Allah and salawat on the Prophet ﷺ

‎– Ask with conviction, not doubt

‎– Be specific and persistent

‎– Admit your need and sins

‎– End with salawat and āmeen

‎Duā isn’t just asking it’s worship.

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ

"wa lasaufa yu'tika rabbuka fa tarda."

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be Satisfied.

Frankly and briefly, the situation in Gaza cannot be written about in a mere post or expressed in a mere picture or video clip. The situation in Gaza is more like an end-of-the-world movie, but this movie is titled The End of Gaza!!

قد يكونُ تَحطُّمُ حُلمِكَ رحمةً من رَبِّك.

Perhaps losing your dream was an act of mercy from your lord.

ربُّما كان على حُلمِك أن يظلَّ حُلمًا، حتى تنجو.

Perhaps, your dream had to stay a dream, for you to survive.

ماذا لو حطَّمَ الله حُلمَكَ حتى لا تُحطِّمَ أنتَ نفسَك.

What if Allah destroyed your dream so that you wouldn’t destroy yourself.
