SITE PREMISE

hope valley is a small town, somewhere. the town and its locals know it isn’t the idealistic place sold to tourists but agree that hope valley is somewhere special—more than home, there’s something in the air. if you leave, there’s a sense of longing that never leaves you until you come back. it’s true for locals and true for the spectators, tourists, who experience significant events within the town’s borders: love at first sight, engagements, weddings, or the chorus of voices counting down towards the new year, complete with a kiss to ring it in.

the experiences aren’t extraordinary but make for a lovely experience—one that’s been made more public in recent years. kissing ridge resort has been a tourist attraction since it opened and that’s where it all starts. the town starts building itself around their biggest attraction: a habitable, storybook town. all its charms are more noticeable when the holiday season comes, with a fresh layer of snow coating the mountain and the nip of the cold on your nose. the word of mouth grows. people come to hope valley from all over and  crowned as a love capital, charming and slightly rustic. the perfect place to fall in love, find your someone.

we are on day 4 of our buzz! the discord has been poppin and we’re so excited about all the lovely people who have joined us thus far. today we have started our request challenge which you can participate in on our discord, here! and when you do, we are offering 500 points for every request you create and every request you take (with a cap of 5)!!!

we also have a preview for y’all - the future nostalgia neighborhoods. there’s a lot to unpack here in los angeles so we wanted to be sure to give you some context on different places your characters can live that will match their vibe. check them out below!!

🚨 the time has come!! 

we are now officially buzzing! we’ve been anticipating this day for a long time and are so excited to begin this journey with y’all. so without further ado, let’s get into detail about the much anticipated general reserves!

reserves are now OPEN. everyone will be able to reserve two faces, and these can be made anytime during the course of our buzz. to make your reserves head on over to our ask box and send in your reserves, alias, and back ups (just in case!). we look forward to seeing everyone’s face choices!

but that’s not all… to celebrate the beginning of our buzz and reserves opening, we have a little surprise. to really hype everyone up for future nostalgia, we wanted to give everyone a little preview of our skin. 😏 check it out below!!

the beginning of our buzz is very nearly here!!! we are beyond excited and hope y’all are too. we wanted to give a little pre-announcement to prepare for what’s to come.

tomorrow (monday, august 16th), at 11am pst / 2pm est, we will be officially kicking off the site buzz with our general face reserves. everyone will be able to make 2 face reserves, and we ask that you provide backups in the event a face you’d like is already taken. please do not send in your reserves until we make an announcement to do so. as soon as we make our announcement tomorrow, feel free to send in your 2 reserves and backs ups. <3
