Body as a symbol
Vitshois Mwilambwe Bondo (DRC) is known for his activism and his radical performances, in which he makes his own body a territory of pain. Using the body as a symbol for the expression of human passions, Mwilambwe Bondo reflexively mirrors the realities of society and politics. His work reassembles bodies and faces with the use of clippings from international fashion magazines, revealing the human figure as perpetually incomplete.

Fashionning Fashion!
Tumblr media
I like  Fashion and I did not still have the opportunity to talk about it. I lived in Paris and it is a city for the enthusiasts of the Sewing.  The musée des Arts Décoratifs presents a prestigious exhibition. Fashioning Fashion: two centuries of European fashion 1700-1915 celebrates the acquisition, by the LACMA, of two remarkable collections, of Martin Kamer and  Wolfgang Ruf, both antique dealers and collectors of suits and old) fabrics. Yes! I know that it is not the contemporary art, but the exhibition(exposure) is so beautiful. Thank you

Contemporary art must be an essentiel space of reflection, debate and contesting. It is also a good indication of a society 's freedom desire .

RACHID KORAïCHI
Tumblr media
The Invisible Masters
I like the work of Rachid Koraïchi; this artist works on silk, creates tapestries, paints on parchment, works the clay, the kaolin, uses the steel or the stone.  I like his works between  artistic and spiritual heritage, Rachid Koraïchi is attached to the symbolism and  he uses in a recurring way the number seven in his work, as well as  blue,  gold, Moon, circle,  square,  stars).

The artist’s second solo exhibition at the Meem Gallery -  Fun with Fen – captures our world seen through the his eyes!
Mohamed commenced painting informally in Abu Dhabi in 1989. Using self-taught modern techniques of Roy Lichtenstein, Mohamed paints in the contemporary Pop art style of Andy Warhol. His first work, executed in this style, was a portrait of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late President and Founder of the United Arab Emirates, an ever present spiritual inspiration to his work.
Mohamed's works have developed over the years and he has recently started experimenting with other media for his more abstract contemporary pieces.
