So they can and hence could've changed it for s2 but didn't? That s2 disaster was a choice, wasn't it. I feel the show is operating on spite when it comes Kanthony, and people need to stop defending them. They should've stopped yesterday.

this drew a lot of criticism on socials due to the very heavy photoshop, especially when NC posted the reference pic used to create the poster

a few days later the og poster had been deleted from official socials and a new one was posted, using the polin shot that features in the season’s banner

so yeah, they did for polin what they never did for kate and anthony, in spite of having a kate and anthony shot in their hands at the time (the one used for the book cover of tvwlm).

i don't even know what to say about this show, i don't think i’ve come across a production that insists on sidelining extremely popular (and profitable ffs) characters like that.

the difference in marketing between s2 and s3 is insane. we literally had to beg for the basics. couple poster and interviews of the leads are like, the bare minimum you do to promote a romance.

meanwhile teacher's pets are having a world tour to promote the show and 15 different photo ops. go figure.

I've spoken a bit about therapy-speak and social justice terms being misused a la the "Eloise is a white feminist" discourse. Still, I've got to say that although I get that people are self-inserting with Penelope if you truly believe you can be cruel to the people around you because their lives appear better than yours with zero consequences then that just makes me sad because you don't understand friendship and you'll always be too bitter to be happy for anyone else.

Today is Armenian genocide remembrance day. On april 24, 1915 started mass deportations of hundreds of Armenian intelectuals and community leaders, who were (most of the time) eventually killed. Armenian women and children were systematically r//ed and forcibly converted into islam. There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.

Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?

Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.
