I just remembered today at work that one of the fics I want to do for An Exercise in Futility is where Eleanor gets roped into helping Rose hit it off with Alisha and one of the scenes is where as they see Alisha go home for the day Rose goes "Bye, Felicia!" only for Alisha to turn back around and go "It's Alisha! Get it right!" LMFAO

I disappeared for about four hours (give or take) playing ESO earlier and I come back to seeing everyone (rightfully) losing their minds over Kingdom Hearts IV trending on Twitter LMAO

I don't go out of my way to read romance, especially if it's of the heterosexual variety (because, in my experience, most of them either just suck or just don't click with me) - not unless I make it a choice to actively search out for it. But I'm six volumes into Housekeeping Mage from Another World and not only does it excel at having a low stakes story but a believable, relatively slow burn romance between its two main leads.

Personally I'd recommend it and place it higher than 50 Tea Recipes from the Duchess for having more emphasis on cooking and adventuring/worldbuilding and much less skimping out on certain character dynamics that were put off to the wayside.

Writing Updates

My mental health's been shot the past couple months, damnably so in March and April, to the point I didn't want to do anything with art or writing (long story). I'm still surprised I was able to work on and finish run like the wind, bullseye! within that time span. And while I can't say May has been any better (so far) I'm still plunking along on my docs.

I don't have anything in particular lined up atm - at least, nothing I can get done right away in a day and on a burst of divine inspiration from The Muse (and doesn't involve work kicking my ass). There's a project I'm working on that I had put off to the side in favor of run like the wind, bullseye!, so that's going to take precedence first until that's done. I'm hoping that'll be done in another month (and that's if the clip is steady and on a good day) but it's hard to gauge so uhhhh Semper Fi let's hope for the best!

On a lighter note, there's a DannyMay WIP I just started recently and have tucked away in the USB Drive, but I'm not in any particular hurry to get it done (it's a sequel to the Fantasy AU fic I did for 2023). I also have the summary and tags drawn up for an AveMuji WIP, as well (and the way things have been going, I ought to make a separate folder in the USB Drive).

That's about it for now.

Installed ESO on the New PC (and had to make a new email because the website recognized but didn't send a reset password request to the one I do use for some reason).

I'm surprised the game remembers I made my scalie necromancer lol Idk I figured it would've purged it due to lack of activity (I have a major productive procastination issue, so I never did get around to playing when I made him tbh).

Anyway here's my Dwemer-obsessed scalie boi, Jerom-Ze.

Been sitting on it, but I'm going to start playing ToGf tomorrow, mainly because I tried installing ESO earlier, saw how long it was going to take because Big MMO, and decided I have a perfectly new game waiting in the wings so why add more to the pile when that hasn't been touched yet.

Also because I don't want to jump back into Fable and fixate for the umpteenth time Egads
