hi there!! so i’ve been a therian for a couple years at this point, but I’ve never really had any questions about any of my theriotypes.

But anyway, the other week I was at the renaissance faire and i walked by this taxidermy shop. I saw this one tail, and all of a sudden I literally felt it. It was definitely a shift. So naturally I asked what type of tail it was, and the worker said it was a coyote.

So I bought it, and whenever I wear it I feel really at peace. Do you think this could be a sign I have a coyote theriotype? Because I have never had a shift happen like that before

I do think this could be a sign, yes, however keep in mind that it's about how you feel, not how I think you feel!

So, in my post I mentioned the urge to pee to mark territory. While it IS a strong urge, I don't actually do it since there are other people in my household, and it wouldn't be fair to make the house smell bad or be dirty when its a shared living space! (also its super hard to pee on stuff, that's another reason I don't genuinely do it)

I found a MASSIVE mushroom on my walk to school but I couldn't bring it with me :[ so I left it outside and on my walk home it was still there!!! BUT WAIT. IT GETS BETTER!!

Hey, I'm back! So, it actually did help me. I started to look into it, I found three more theriotypes, still can't figure out the reason I get a phantom limbs of a fin tho, so imma keep working on that. Anyway, could you maybe do a little board of a black Maine coon cat, gray wolf, champagne ferret and a common cuckoo bird?Maybe even put some fun facts of each?😋

I've never actually made a mood board for someone else before, hope you like it!

Today we got jumped by a friend (they like to play little pranks on me, i usually enjoy it) while I was enjoying a tail shift, and I felt these enormous wings flare out behind me

this is really really new and I have never had wing shifts before QvQ

any tips on how to find them again?

i think they were the bat kind of wings I'm not sure, they were hella big tho

I am raven hearted because i like shiny stuff but I'm not sure there were feathers

Finding phantom shifts can be tricky!! For some people shifts are completely involuntary, which may be your case, but there are ways to trigger them (but they don't work for everyone)!!

Things that help me shift (but these are based off of my kins/ theriotypes):

-Looking at photos of my types (looking at dogs, fangs, zombies, ect)

-Having friends call me that thing (ex: having my partner calling me a puppy or a zombie)

-Acting like my type (barking, groaning, drinking red juices)

-Being in my types environment (hanging out in a forest, or chilling in a graveyard)
