Truly cannot say enough good things about this song
MADELINE GOLDSTEIN
SEED OF DOUBT | 2022
Wash me down drink me up til I’m all out
Nothing left—nothing here except a seed of your doubt
I could be a vision of every fire
Burning up the kind of man the feeds on innocent desire

RIP passing by Luis Vasquez better known as The Soft Moon
The causes of death were not revealed, although the website The Quietus points out that the musician was the victim of an incident that was also tragic for John Juan Mendez (DJ Silent Servant) and his partner, Simone Ling.
Luis Vasquez (October 20, 1979 – January 19, 2024), known professionally as The Soft Moon, American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and songwriter, Luis Vasquez was of Cuban and Mexican ancestry from The Soft Moon, which he founded in 2009.
He enjoyed several Californian punk bands as a teenager and in 2019 formed the project that brought him greater visibility, The Soft Moon, inspired by post-punk, darkwave and industrial rock.
His exceptional talent as an artist and musician has profoundly shaped the music scene and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Our deepest condolences go out to his friends and family during this difficult time.

Rest in Peace, Luis Vasquez 💔
I discovered The Soft Moon while stuck in London Heathrow overnight waiting for a flight. It was the same night I discovered Boy Harsher and Molchat Doma. It was the dawn of my love of goth/darkwave music. I’ve come back to this KEXP performance often just to listen to his vocals on ‘Wasting’ - I could never get enough of him.
Devastated that we have lost such a talented and dynamic artist so young. Grateful I got to see him perform live, if only once. His music will continue on, but I wish he were still here 😞🥀
