Some thoughts

Today is Christmas and I saw a lot of it's all about the presents by one person. The thing I wanted to say was it isnt about that, and it never will be, it's about being with the people you love celebrating life and love. Celebrating if you're christian like I am the birth of baby jesus even though it is a pagan holiday christianity is technically pagan and jesus probably wasn't born in December but regardless it's about being with your loved ones and making them smile. Presents are nice and it's nice to give to one another however that's not what the holiday is about or it doesn't even shows how much someone loves you. Look at who you are with on this day and remember the greatest gift that person has given you is their love, presence, and adoration, their loyalty and friendship. Always remember that. Material items they go away and are replaced but bonds to one another, that's irreplaceable

So I've taken up French.

So for the longest time I thought I can't learn a language. I would just say well oh I cant do that. Because I had failed miserably at learning spanish. This was due to having multiple Spanish teachers from multiple places each one taught me a bunch of different things on different curriculums. Well then I thought hmm well what exactly is making it to where I cannot do this. I'm intelligent, and so nothing exactly was stopping me from learning a language I really wanted to learn which is French.

So hear we are, I am now currently studying French, and I am loving it. I think what I'm getting at if failure is holding you back from doing something you want, then face the fact you will fail and you will learn and get better at it all you have to do is try. You cannot say you fail at something until you try it. I failed at Spanish but so far I am grasping French much better. Bonne nuit.🌙

It’s the first time I drink coffee since like 1 year!?!? (And it’s vegan and homemade and it tastes soooooo good!!!!) I’m really enjoying all the free time and the sunny weather :’) I still need to write three papers but I finished the first one yesterday :)

I’m really focusing on studying languages these days; being able to understand what I usually watch it makes me so proud of myself. I haven’t found books I’d like to read next month yet, and it’s quite annoying. Maybe because I am still stuck with young-adult fantasy readings, I just wanna sketch and read prompts about my favourite characters. It’s a reading slump, I can feel it..!
