Definitions

Story-. is an account of a sequence of events that is spoken or written in prose or verse. It is a work of fiction that is shorter and typically less detailed than a novel. It is also known as a short tale.

Tale-. A tale is a story, frequently containing magic or thrilling situations. a compilation of folktales, stories, and poems.

Science fiction-. Science fiction is also referred to as "speculative fiction" since it imagines future lifestyles made feasible by technological advancement.

Literature for English- story

It was the year 2040, I was a 34-year-old adult, unemployed, divorced, childless, and sunk in depression, I had no friends either, therefore, I had nothing and no one.

One night, after doing nothing as usual, I Immediately craved to shower, but I heard a big commotion inside the room where I lived, I glanced out the window and heard them say:

- Look! Look! Look at the news!

it was breaking news: "Water is running out all over the world. Because of so much waste and irrational consumption, water is finished.” I was so scared. Later, I heard a loud knock on my door, I opened it to see who it was. There was a guy who said he was part of the FBI, they were going to take me on to be part of the solution to the problem, "why me?" I said, "It was by lottery" He exclaimed.

"You and one other person are going to use a time machine; you are going to go back in time and solve this problem. You are going to project yourselves in a giant hologram that will be seen by all the people in the year 2023 when there was the most water pollution. "

"What?! How are we supposed to win over all those people?!"  I yelled.

….

Upon arrival, I met my partner, Erick. After getting to know him a bit, we decided to go ahead with the plan.

"Ready?"

"Let's carry it out" we said in unison.

We traveled back in time with some cupolas. Next, we entered a big and gray place where some screens were anticipating us to be broadcast.

"It's about time,” said the agent

We got ready and Erick was the first to speak.

"Brothers, we come from the future, we are out of water! We are lost, please save us, don't waste water."

Meanwhile, I said: "Please, if you don't use the tap, don't leave it on, don't use the washing machines too much, don't take long showers if you don't need to, thank you."

"That's all? I hope it worked. Let's go back."

When we got back to our time. Suddenly, we had water again! It was as if nothing had happened! Apparently, the people of the past just needed a wake-up call!

I think everyone who was part of this also learned the value of water, that's for sure.

How did I save water yesterday?

Yesterday was a holiday, our city celebrates its independence, so the city was also very festive and busy. I went out with my dad basically all day long. We spent our day in Malecon 2000 so. Therefore, I did not stay at my house which is why I did not spend water inside my house so that is how I saved water yesterday
