I’m just thinking so much abt. qTubbo crouched outside the movie theatre, listening to his best friends on a date together. And they’re laughing, and chatting, and enjoying themselves. And they’re his best friends. His family, even if he won’t call them that. He loves them so fucking much. And he doesn’t want to hurt them.

But at the same time it hurts him so bad. It’s just more proof, to him. They don’t need him there. Things are just as good for them, better even, when he’s not there.

And the only way Tubbo knows how to be loved is to be needed.

Tubbo was on the fence about the photoshopped pics right up until the moment Fit and Pac left the theatre. And even then he felt horrible. He got absolutely no joy from any of it. Adrenaline, maybe. It’s easy to mistake one for the other. But not joy. It hurt him to try to ruin his friends’ happiness. But to him, if he didn’t try, he was just… letting his friends stop needing him. Waiting like lame prey to be left behind by his herd and eaten by the pack of predators that host hurt and loneliness.

He sat and stared at Pac’s enderpearl for like five minutes. Genuinely I thought my stream froze but no. He just sat on top of the stasis chamber and deliberated for five minutes straight. He says it so often throughout the stream you’d think it became his catchphrase, he feels so guilty about everything. And in the end, he has to leave it up to chance. Can’t even drop the trapdoor himself, tricks Bagi into doing it instead.

And then after the chaos, after the screaming and yelling, after his friends notice his eyes looking dull and the stress on his face, he just… gives up. Says yeah. You guys should finish your date. Makes a joke. People like jokes. People get distracted by jokes. Bagi should go figure out how many more people she’s related to.

and he leaves.

And. It’s. That hurts too. And he knows what this looks like, knows that the brush they paint his story with will be one that leaves strokes of jealousy on the canvas. Knows Fit thinks he’s acting out of petulance. Knows they both are upset that he’s tried to ruin a good thing for them. Knows that this is just another addition on the long list of reasons why he’s not to be trusted, not to be listened to, not to be loved. But he loves his friends.

And the only way Tubbo knows how to be loved is to be needed.

And if they didn’t need him before they definitely don’t now.

Easier to jump off the bridge than be pushed.

thought i'd share my little concept of tallulah starting to dress less like qwilbur

in her earlier design she wears a lot of reds (to callback to the beanie) (i hate drawing beanies) with purple accents , but now she's wearing more of her favorite colors with green accents to represent qphil instead . but i'm still gonna draw her with pigtail braids sometimes bc they're fun ^_^

We know how he is trying to move on but at the same time we can see how that's making him more careless and I'm wondering how could this play out in the future

I’m still thinking about the soccer coach tubbo au bc it just fits so well??? Like sunny is his biological sister but he’s been taking care of her since she was to little to remember their parents so he’s dad to her and she’s his daughter and princess and light of his life. They’re rich af bc tubbo is an engineering genius who created a whole ass company at a young age but has it managed by someone else so he can spend time with his princess and doing what he loves creating things instead of doing the boring stuff.

Tubbo is an absolute boy fail cringe dad who wears hand me downs and dirty white shirts from working in the garage. I’m thinking he has like 3 graphic t shirts w the arms cut off to make a tank top that sunny HATES with a passion bc he looks absolutely homeless even if he fits in with all the other dads at Home Depot.

His pride and joy of his career is absolutely Sunny’s soccer team and he screams and shouts like they won the World Cup every time they win just bc he’s so proud of them (he sobbed when they gave him his jersey).

The other moms/parents despise his random ass kid who’s barley old enough to survive in his own (he doesn’t, his neighbors Fit and Pac basically live at his house to make sure he has homemade food at the end of the day). He pulls up every game/practice in his built from scratch “fixer” car with the Barbie soundtrack blasting from the speakers.

The other parents can hardlystand him and can’t understand why his daughter is dressed so nicely and has such nice stuff when he is quite literally homeless until he turns up at the daddy daughter dance in a custom suit to match Sunny’s dress that was custom made for just that night.

Tubbo is, admittedly, not the best person. He’s kind of a bit of a dick. He’s reckless, doesn’t have much regard for his own personal safety, let alone others, and he can be callous and rude and prickly and blunt. He’s not afraid to push buttons, literally or metaphorically, and he can be... explosive. Destructive, even. To say the least. On further introspection, Tubbo realizes that he’s actually a lot more than a bit of a dick. He doesn’t deserve this though. Probably. (Never let your husband's girlfriend stop you from trying to find a way to divorce your husband.)

local man tries to get a divorce from local general dickhead. dickhead's girlfriend says "better luck next time" to the poor dumbass that accidentally tied himself to the top ten worst guys ever.
