Social Media, a Positive or Negative Space?

When it comes to internet "trolls", the reason behind their hatred is still not fully known to others. Some believe that it stems from the user's own insecurity issues, while others believe that online "trolls" use the internet as a hiding place to share their opinions without having to physically face others. Some believe that these "trolls" are just full of hate and negative emotions, and just feel that it is acceptable to share these comments online. They believe that it is all right to bring others down with derogatory comments, no matter the platform or subject. As a society, we have to stop simply accepting these comments, and stand up for ourselves and others. We have to show that it is not okay to bring others down, no matter the emotions you are feeling yourself. We should be working to spread positivity, not negativity on our online spaces and platforms
