Name: Ryan Porter

Age: 28

Occupation: Office worker (corporate analyst)

Ryan is a cheerful, easygoing guy who’s a bit scatterbrained. He’s hardworking yet forgetful, which makes him both relatable and lovable. Known for his quirky pajama collection, he often wears mismatched sets and is a little too reliant on his comfy routine.

Despite his occasional slip-ups, Ryan’s heart is always in the right place. He blushes bright red when embarrassed, adding to his awkward charm. Though laid-back, his forgetfulness sometimes gets the best of him—like when he accidentally shows up to the office in pajama bottoms!

Here is the technical shot and the storyline of a 01 minute animation short I have been working on for my assignment.

THE HABIT

“Meet Ryan, your friendly, slightly scatterbrained office worker who got way too comfy with the work-from home life during the pandemic. Like, we're talking suit jacket and tie on top, pajama bottoms on the bottom. For months, Ryan mastered the art of looking professional for Zoom calls while keeping maximum coziness out of view.”

“But then, the big day arrives: "Back to Office." Ryan is half-awake but excited, ready to get back into the real world. He goes through his usual morning routine - fixes his hair, checks himself in the mirror, and, as always, throws on his sharp suit jacket. Everything seems perfect, except, he’s still in his his polka dot pajama pants.”

“Completely oblivious, Ryan enters into the office. Colleagues stare at him in complete shock. Slowly, Ryan looks down and it hits him. He glances down, sees the very unprofessional pajama bottoms, and his eyes widen in horror.”

“Ryan freezes. His face turns bright red, he looks like he wants to disappear into the floor. His coworkers burst into full-blown laughter, and poor Ryan can’t do anything but stand there, blushing so hard he could melt.”
