Puzzle for a friend
Not everyone can use me,but they can understand me. Not everyone can read me, but they always seem to hear me. And those who cannot hear me, they will always feel me. And anywhere in the world is where you can find me.
Who am I?

Has anyone suscessfuly solved The puzzle of Pound's Murder, like besides you..?
Yes. About forty people have solved it thus far, ten without using any hints. The current record for solving the puzzle is 32 seconds, held by @kackjalvar, without using any hints. Second place took about two hours, no hints.
The key to solving it is thinking about a question that addresses the puzzle as a whole, not a specific detail about the puzzle. Make the question about the fact it’s a puzzle, not about how many other people are in the room, whether the door is locked on the inside or outside, etc.
Thanks for the ask!

Just a question, but when do u think you will be posting another puzzle soon..?
Yes I will, dearest apologies. I actually still need to solve puzzle 10, which is the next really difficult one, but I have the rest of the 9′s, the 11′s and writing 12. 12 will be a very complicated one, so be on the lookout for that one!
Oh, and just a cool puzzle to whip out at parties (Idk if I’ll give it a number):
You have one full glass of iced tea and one full glass of lemonade. You want to mix the two so you have two glasses of half iced tea and half lemonade. If all glasses are the same size, how many glasses total will you need to do this?

For the first puzzle [ Puzzle #1 (Pound’s Murder) ] is the question: What happened before the 10 minutes which I don't remember..?
That is incorrect. You were just going on with your normal life before you blacked out and ended up in the room. It is possible that you were drugged, knocked out, etc, but you have no recollection of anything like that, so if that happened it would have been in the past 10 minutes.
Thanks so much for giving it a try! Keep on puzzling!

OMG thank you! :D That would literally be awesome. Like. Spectacular. But the series is over now, besides they only have one puzzle master........ :(
But thanks a lot! That means a lot to me :)

Brief explanation of next few puzzles:
The next few puzzles will be presented as number grids. The objective of the puzzle is to connect the numbers with lines so that each number has that amount of lines stemming from it. Lines can only go up, down, left, or right. 1 – 3 – 1    1 – 1       1 – 2 – 1          l     1 So have fun!

Note
Also, try simplifying the problem; like if you had one measure, 4/4 time, could only use quarter notes at least, and can’t repeat notes. Solve that, then see if you can apply it to the bigger problem
puzzle #7 thanks!
I’m assuming you’re asking for a hint so here tis:
1. It’s far easier than you think
2. Some of the details that appear to make this harder actually make your job a lot easier. For example, not being able to have the same notes next to each other helps you out a lot.
Also, given that the solution is well over the number of atoms in the universe and breaks your calculator when you try to solve it, you can answer it as (x^y)-z and leave it at that
Also remember, one note songs count!

Puzzle #7
In Music Theory, you have been assigned to write a completely random “song.” Here are the guidelines:
-must be twelve bars, 4/4 time
-smallest note length you can use is 32nd
-octave differences don’t count: high C and middle C are regarded as the same note
-no articulation, dynamics, tempo change, etc.
-song must have at least one note
-you can’t repeat consecutive notes
How many different songs could you create?

Notice and thank yous
Thanks so much to @angryplantbabe and @dakhere for pointing out some errors in puzzes 2a and 5!
And as a notice, I WILL be editing my puzzles from time to time to make sure they work. If you see a puzzle that doesn’t make sense at all, tell me and I’ll fix it. Or be an a-hole and say you’re overlooking something but that’s not important don’t worry about that tho tbh it will probably happen to you

okay i dont even know about #1 can u give a hint on that one
As an annoying hint, you can simplify the situation into a mathematical equation and solve it using a basic principle of calculus
Or if the mathy-ness isn’t for you, the answer is a yes or no question
Let me know if you’re still completely stumped tho

Puzzle #6
You have been given a blank flag to paint. It is divided into 12 parts, as shown:
Tumblr media
(I tried)
You have also been given 3 different colors of paint: red, green, and blue. Considering that:
-you can’t mix colors
-whatever you paint on the front will be the same on the back
How many possible designs are there?

Puzzle #5 (Number sequence #1)
What is the pattern?
0000, 0316, 0632, 0948, 1305, 1621, 1937, 2254, 0210, 0527, 0843, 1200, 1516, 1832, 2148, 0105, 0421, 0737, 1054, 1410, 1727, 2043, repeat
As a necessary hint, all of the numbers are cut off, not rounded, but are still “acceptable.” What numbers would be cut off but still make sense?

Puzzle #3
You are borrowing someone’s computer, but you open it and find it password protected. You send the owner a text asking for the password, and they immediately respond with this:

You know the password is 10 digits long (only numbers).
What is the password?
