Thanks for responding and I apologize if I’m annoying you! I’m just a curious person and like knowing people’s motives behind their ships. :)

That’s fine and I respect that. I just don’t think I can explain to you how I see their relationship or do it well enough, I guess. I always was terrible at that.

I was only asking because YJ!Wally and TT!Gar have a lot in common and if Maddie and Gar work in the TT world (recent movies included) it’d seem like Wally and Maddie could work in the YJ world. Gar’s pretty sporadic and not so level-headed like you claim Wally and Maddie are, yet they’re still paired together. I was just curious on your thoughts is all! You know Maddie best of course. Maddie and Dick are cute in s1, but to me they don’t feel compatible enough to survive s2 and then marriage.

I never said Gar was level-headed or that Maddie and Wally are a lot of the time. I’m also not saying that Maddie can’t and doesn’t work with Wally or Gar. I mean clearly, I do think it works cause I pair her with Gar in Teen Titan universes and have thought about her and Wally together. But my biggest thing is that, to me, she and Wally are too much like brother and sister. To me, they work best in that kind of relationship. Also, the biggest difference between him and Gar is that she is still in contact with/lives with Victor in the Teen Titan universes. In a lot of ways, Maddie becomes attached to Wally like a brother to fill the void of Victor. Though she doesn’t know that she’s doing that of course. But it is part of what makes her see him and her other friends more like her brothers and sisters. By the time Victor comes back into her life, they already see each other too much like brother and sister to date. Plus I can’t see a reason why he would leave Artemis. Maybe if they never got together in the first place but since you’re saying Maddie and Wally should get together as adults, no. Also, I wish you’d stop comparing their possible relationship to her and Gar’s. I understand Gar and Wally have similar personalities but it’s not just the personalities that go into a relationship. It’s also the situations in which they meet. Gar and Maddie meet in a different situation than Wally and Maddie. And this can also affect their future relationship.

You keep saying that they couldn’t survive long term but I think they could. And I don’t want to keep repeating myself since I’ve already told you why I feel they work and I don’t think I can ever make you see it how I do. So I don’t really know what else to say at this point.

Art reposters again. 1000+ likes. No credit to me no business to me. I am so sick and tired of drawing anything for anyone anymore. It used to be fun but it isn’t anymore. It’s sad I don’t get any attention for my hard work and my original content gets sweeped under the rug.

I just. Don’t know what to do anymore. Even writing DO NOT REPOST on my drawings and making them ugly with watermarks isn’t enough anymore.

Ever contemplate Maddie and Wally being a ship? Wally seems better suited for Maddie in the long run as compared to Dick. Their personalities mesh more and I feel like they’re a better fit for each other. You haven’t provided us much with Dick and Maddie, but from what you have given us, they just don’t seem like a couple that would ultimately last whereas I feel Wally and Maddie would have more potential with maybe Dick and Maddie having a small thing in S1 and then moving on from each other.

Yes, I have actually but my problem with them being a real ship is that they are too much like brother and sister and work best as that in my mind. Maddie and Wally together are wild and don’t really balance each other out. Because they are a lot alike. If I see anyone not lasting, it’s those two. They would be the ones having a small thing and then heading their sperate ways. They both need someone to call them on their crap and not go along with every little thing they do or say. That’s why I like Wally with Artemis and Maddie with Dick. Artemis and Dick are more level-headed compared to Wally and Maddie. Those two can make them think more calmly and slow them down when need be. Just like on the other hand, Maddie and Wally can bring a little light into their lives when they need it. 

I’m sorry if you don’t like Maddie with Dick but I like them together and they make the most sense in the Young Justice universe to me. I don’t know what else to say on this.
