What about Saja boys (separate or together) x past!idol reader? It can be angst or fluff, I don't care, But the Saja boys find out reader used to be a kpop idol somehow? (Like they find a video of one of the readers old concerts) And overall, I'm curious about their reactions. Thank you 😁

Saja Boys (separately) x past!idol reader

ABBY -

He didn’t know how he came across the video but somehow it had shown up on his feed. He didn’t know whether or not to believe it or not so he did some more digging and ended up finding out that the video was real. You used to be a k-pop idol yourself…so why did you keep this from him?

The two of you had been dating for quite some time now and you had never once mentioned this to him. He couldn’t help but feel a little hurt that you didn’t share this part of your life with him, especially since you guys were so close.

When you got home from work one day, Abby decided to confront you about this, wanting to know more and why you hid it. Once you settled on the couch, he sat down beside you with his phone out.

“Hey…can I ask you about something?” Abby asked you in a more serious tone than usual. That was your first sign that something was up with him because he usually wasn't this serious around you. You sat up a little straighter on the couch and turned to face him a bit more, a small frown on your lips. “Yeah of course. Is something wrong?” You asked him quietly, watching him pull something up on his phone.

“Why didn’t you tell me about this?” Abby asked you, showing you the video of yourself singing on stage when you used to be a k-pop idol…something you had put behind you. You tell by Abby’s body language, which was tenser than usual, that he was upset. He looked hurt more than anything. You felt yourself tense more as well since the video was bringing back memories that you thought you had buried.

“Abby…I’m sorry. I just…I kind of wanted to put it all behind me. It was a part of my life that I don’t regret but want to put in the past.” You explained with a small sigh. You could tell that Abby was still upset.

“I just don’t understand why you didn’t tell me about this, y/n. I thought we told each other everything and this is a pretty big thing that clearly affected your life. I just thought that you’ve let me in on this.” Abby told you in a serious tone, keeping his eyes on you.

You felt a small tinge of guilt seeing Abby’s reaction. You didn’t really know what you were expecting but it wasn’t this. However, you couldn’t blame him. This was a pretty big part of your life that you kept hidden from the one person who knew you better then anyone.

“I’m sorry, you’re right. I should’ve trusted you. I was just…scared, I guess. I didn’t know how you’d react and that part of my life has been put behind me. But you’re right, I should’ve told you. I’m sorry.” You told Abby sincerely, looking into his eyes. You really did mean your words and you hoped that he’d understand.

Abby stayed quiet for a moment before letting out a small sigh and nodding. He moved closer to you again, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you against his chest. “It’s okay, baby…thank you for being honest with me.” A small smirk then formed on his face.

“I’ll forgive you if you give me a performance of one of your songs.” He told you with a smug expression. You playfully hit his chest but in the end, he managed to convince you to sing one of your songs to him.

ROMANCE -

Jinu had sent him the video along with a message that said: “Hey. Isn’t this y/n? I didn’t know she was a k-pop idol.” Yeah, he didn’t either. After Romance watched the video (multiple times of course because you looked beautiful on stage), he did a deep dive. He went through multiple websites and found whatever he could but there was very little information. It seemed like any information about you and your songs had been wiped somehow, very few details and videos remained online.

Romance was a little curious as to why you had kept this part of your life from him but it seemed like you had wanted it to be forgotten.

Still, it didn’t stop him from asking you about it when you two were hanging out at his place that evening. He pulled up the video again and showed you his phone, watching the surprised expression on your face.

“Look…I feel like there’s a reason why you didn’t tell me so I’m not upset that you didn’t tell me. I guess I just wish that I didn’t have to find out from Jinu.” Romance told you with a small chuckle before putting his phone away and moving to wrap his arms around you.

“Wait, you aren’t mad that I didn’t tell you about my past?” You asked him quietly, still feeling a little unsure about how he was taking this news.

Romance just shook his head, a smile still on his face. “Of course not. I mean, it would’ve been cool to know because we could’ve talked about it but I’m not mad at you. I’ve honestly been replaying the video because you look so beautiful on that stage.” He told you softly, leaning forward to press a kiss to your head.

The two of you spent the rest of the evening talking about your k-pop past and Romance made you find other videos to show him. He saved every single one.

MYSTERY -

Mystery found the video himself. He came upon a video of a smaller concert but still with a lot of fans clearly excited in the audience. He was intrigued by it so he watched it, instantly recognizing you as part of the group. He was taken back for a moment and had to pause the video to zoom in, just to be sure. Sure enough, it was definitely you there.

He couldn’t help but wonder why you never told him about this but he wasn’t one to judge. He kept a lot of things to himself so he understood that maybe this was something you didn’t want to bring up to him.

Still, his curiosity got the best of him that night when you were over. He was a little nervous to bring it up in case it was something that struck a bad memory for you. He just had to ask though.

“Hey…so you don’t have to tell me much but I came across a video today of you singing with a k-pop group.” Mystery told you after the two of you finished watching a movie.

You were a little surprised that he had found out about that because you didn’t think people talked about your group much anymore. It seemed like there were still a few videos floating around.

“Oh yeah…it was a few years ago now. I honestly just did it for fun and we were pretty popular but then it got a little too much, you know? So we stopped. I don’t regret it though, it was fun while it lasted.” You explained to him with a small smile, pulling out your phone.

“Would you want to see more?” You asked Mystery as you pulled up some other concert videos. He instantly scooted closer to you, which you were surprised was even possible due to how close he had already been.

The two of you spent the rest of the night watching other videos as you explained everything. Mystery had honestly just been curious when he saw the video and it was grateful that you felt so comfortable telling him all the details about it.

BABY -

Baby found out from overhearing one of your friends mention it. The two of you had been hanging out with some of your friends and one of them had let it slip that you were part of this k-pop group. Baby didn’t react right away, making it seem like he hadn’t heard it but when he got home that night, he instantly did his research. He couldn’t help but feel a little frustrated that you had told your friends about this and not him. He was your boyfriend and you didn’t think to mention this part of your life to him?

The next time you guys hung out, he asked you about it right away. He mainly just wanted to know why you kept it from him.

Once you got to his place, he was right there holding his phone out to you. “Why didn’t you tell me about this? I had to find out from hearing it from one of your friends?” He asked you quickly and slightly pushy.

You were a little taken back by his tone and the fact that he had found out. You hadn’t meant to keep it from him but you just didn’t know how to bring it up.

“Baby…I’m sorry. I didn’t want you to find out that way. I’ve been trying to figure out how to tell you but I’ve honestly been scared of how you’d react. I know that’s stupid but…that was a kind of challenging time if my life so I wanted to feel ready to talk about it.” You explained quietly, keeping your eyes on him.

Shit. Now he felt terrible that he had come on so strongly. Baby let out a small sigh as he lowered his phone. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to come on so strongly like that. I think I was just upset that you’re friends knew about it and not me.” He confessed as he looked at you with a softer expression now.

“I would like to know more though. If you feel comfortable sharing, of course.” Baby added as he put his hand on your lower back and led you into the living room.

So that night you ended up opening up to Baby about the whole story of being part of a k-pop group and why you stopped. He sat there and listened to every word you said, understanding more by the end why you had kept it hidden.

JINU -

Jinu found out from walking into a room and hearing Abby and Romance watching some kind of concert video. He was intrigued by their shocked faces and when he saw the video, he quickly understood. It was you. You were on that stage and singing. You sounded beautiful and looked so natural on stage but you weren’t doing that now. You also hadn’t told him about this.

Jinu never got onto the internet so quickly. He did a deep dive into whatever he could find which wasn’t a whole lot. Abby finally told him to just ask you if he wanted answers so badly so he decided to do that.

While the two of you were on your evening walk, he fiddled with his fingers slightly before bringing it up. “Hey, so I’ve actually been meaning to talk to you about something. Abby and Romance came across a video of you performing earlier. I did a bunch of research…you know, to make sure it wasn’t some crazy edit or AI, but it’s real. Isn’t it?” Jinu asked you, looking over at you.

You knew that this would probably come up eventually so you might as well be honest about it now. You looked over at Jinu and nodded, a small sigh leaving your lips.

“Yeah, it’s real. I was part of a k-pop group a few years ago. It was really fun but our group kind of fell apart. We weren’t crazy popular but we had a bit of a fan base.” You explained, thinking back on the memories of performing. You honestly missed it and Jinu could tell from the look on your face.

“You could always try performing again. Maybe doing some solo stuff? Or, even better, you could help the Saja Boys. It seemed like you were really confident with choreo and we could always use some help with that.” Jinu offered softly, giving you a warm smile.

You returned the smile, thinking about how fun it would be to be able to work with your boyfriend and the other boys. It would also allow you to be able to perform and dance again.

So that night you talked to Jinu about all the different ideas you had for the Saja Boys and what things you could help them work on. Jinu was just excited to be able to work alongside you.
