Yesterday I set myself the goal of finishing the first task of many on my coursework (which is due in 16 days).
As per usual, I didn’t complete that goal. Instead I sat and watched Greys Anatomy (pretty valid excuse to me).
I am hopefully finishing the first task within the next hour and I can start on task 2. Wish me luck.

I went to the gym with a friend earlier and I did a few things out of my comfort zone but I feel so good now!
I wore a shirt with a racer back and no sleeves! I’m extremely self conscious of my back and shoulders because I used to have really bad back acne, so there’s a lot of scars there.
I also used the squat rack for the first time as someone was deadlifting in the area that i usually do my rdls😭
Honestly when they say to go with someone to the gym, do it. It’s so much fun and (I know for me) I felt a lot less embarrassed when people I knew came in as we would be with each other. She also helped me with a few things that I struggle to do myself, which also helps with the embarrassment. But trust me, gym anxiety is all in your head, no one is ever paying attention to what you’re doing.
