GUYS I JUST PLAYED BADMINTON WITH GRIAN MINECRAFT????? WHAT THE FUCK?????

xB: "Hermit you wish you could spend more time with on the server," um. (four seconds of silence) Y'know, if-if--I-Imma say Keralis, but, like, the dude, he's like always on vacation. Always on vacation. Always (through giggling) on vacation. I-I would have to say that, of-of everyone I've hung out with--and this is one of those kinda umbrella questions?--cause, there were questions like "what-which Hermit do you think you got along the best with?" I'm gonna say Keralis. Um. There's been many a time me and Keralis just off camera we were just sitting there just shooting the breeze for--hours. Like, just talking. Not actually doing anything. Like, I'm just kinda running around at my base, and just, whatever, running through food, and that's about it. Um, and we're just chatting, just about life, and…and-and everything. So, I would say Keralis is probably the pers--the Hermit that I've gotten along the best with? And hope to spend more time around. Y-you see what I'm saying?

xB: Umm. "Out of all the Hermits wh-that are no longer on the server which one or ones do you miss?" I miss 'em all. (three seconds of silence) Like. (two seconds of silence) Like, Topmass…Topmass was the one that got me on the server. (he laughs) Y'know? And (four seconds of silence) Zueljin, me and Zueljin, season three hanging out. Phenomenal time. Even when we cros-you know, transitioned over to doing Arc with Slip (Sl1pg8r), and. Phenomenal time. I miss 'em all. So. Yeah. (three seconds of silence) Keralis, 'member when Keralis used to play Hermitcraft? Sorry.

xB: "Would you still love Keralis if he were a worm?" Why are you trying to judge Keralis for not being a worm? That's-that's messed up.

At the end of third life, grian gets to make a wish. But hes really too distraught to do so . And the watchers see an opportunity. So they offer to take all the pain away, all the bad feelings and make him mindless. And grian is in so much agony he accepts. So then the watchers take grians essence and puts it in a new body where he cant feel bad at all! Hes having soo much fun all the time, even in a death game. The watchers getting to keep and feed on the miserable part of him doesnt matter.

oouuugh my god... wow this is a CONCEPT... grian seeming so lively and upbeat all the time, no negative emotions at all. in reality he's just empty of complexity...

something something imagine he goes home to hermitcraft and the hermits notice that something is weird. somethings going on. but they see that grian is really happy so they dont worry for a while... then he seems to be *too* happy. like, in situations where normally he would be frustrated or stressed or sad.

grian doesnt want to go back to feeling bad things. at least, he doesnt think he does, because he cant feel anxiety or dread. if he could, he would be much more worried about himself. but he knows that bad feelings are Bad, so why would he want to feel them?

There was a difference, Tango found, between the bloodlust of the Red Life, and his own Rage.

See, Tango didn't experience the bloodlust of a Red Life.

Not the way everyone else did, anyway.

The bloodlust of the Red Life, the way he heard some of the others describe it, was an almost-all-consuming desire for the death of others.

And not to say Tango never experienced that.

Because he did.

Oh by the Watchers, by the Void Below, by the Light Above, he did.

He experienced it all the time.

His mini-games often involved death and/or destruction.

He took joy in watching Ravagers go after his fellow Hermits back in Decked Out.

He didn't experience the Red Life sadism because it was one he already knew intimately, and therefore knew how to control. He always came across as the happy, silly redstoner who giggled and laughed and made up his own words for things.

The closest Players to him knew better than that.

Impulse, Skizz (Zed, when he was around), they knew. They knew that underneath the silly, cartoonish and sarcastic sense of humor lurked a pit of rage.

Tango kept tight control on himself. He needed to, most of the time. He was goofy and silly and cartoonish.

But when his patience finally ran out and he lost his temper, it wasn't dissimilar to a violent volcanic eruption.

There was a difference between his rage and the Red Life's bloodlust.

But that difference was small.
