I’d like to think Padmé had all her clothes hand made by old pieces of random things, like bed sets, curtains, only pieces of clothing. I also think she’d HATE fast fashion, and only thrift, or make things herself with the help of her handmaidens.

I also believe she would spend months just making Luke and Leia clothes before it would fit them, so she’d be prepared

Giggling at the clueless Clovis defenders that were mad pressed about Queen’s Shadow shedding more light on Clovis and Padmé’s history and it basically confirming that there was never a romantic relationship between the two cause it was all misunderstood from Clovis’ creepy perspective, and how they complain about their non-relationship being ‘retconned’ as if Catherine Taber didn’t confirm that there was never at any point a ‘romance’ between the two in 2016 on Coffee With Kenobi episode 25 before the book even came out.

They can run the arguments all they want that the framing of the Clovis episodes talk about Clovis and Padmé’s past as if to imply that they had a “romantic relationship” but it’s never actually stated or confirmed. (which is done on purpose.) Padmé and Clovis are always referred to by other characters as “old/close friends” in the show and even Clovis says the same, lmao. The show purposefully misleads the audience with the framing so that they too could fall for the same narrative Anakin does which led him into thinking there was some relationship but there never actually was. This is unnecessarily done specifically in favour to underline Anakin’s jealousy and eventual fall to the dark side.

(Anakin is famously known for being an unreliable narrator at certain points of the story, which was the clear indication during these episodes.)

But the Queen’s trilogy is all in Padmé’s POV, and she makes it quite clear there wasn’t anything there.

Accept the facts and move on, loves.

Even EKJ the author to the canon Queen’s trilogy literally says:

Like please, these people really are just mad that it’s canonically debunked that Padmé never hooked up with Clovis and now they’re trying to curb the canon information as a “purity problem” for Padmé on Star Wars’ side as if this info wasn’t already true since the beginning 🙄

This is a REAL photo, of Natalie Portman stuck to the back of a US marine Humvee, and it gives very much “the photo anakin sticks to the seat of his Jedi starfighter” when they keep him on missions longer than expected.

My heart breaks whenever I see this deleted scene because of how badly Padmé wanted kids. She has stated multiple times how BADLY she wanted to have children (it was common in Naboo for females to have kids at a young age, like 20, or 25.) and it hurts knowing she never met her own kids.
