Year 4, Day #28

Hello. I figure it has been long enough, and I am still receiving messages every so often concerning how things are going so I will go ahead and leave you all with an update.

Things have become a lot better since the loss of my cat. A few months after, we have brought a new cat into our own and he is an absolute ray of sunshine. His name is Freddy.

I am doing better myself. In the time I spent away from this blog, I have actually felt as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. For the last year or so leading up to the loss, running this blog actually became more of a chore than it was for fun. As I stated in my last note, it became draining to come on day after day, only to say I have not yet reached my goal.

I feel a lot better now that I am not chasing an unobtainable dream and am able to live a more normal life.

So I am sorry to say, but I think this blog will stay on hiatus permanently. Thank you to those of you who stayed and shared the journey with me. You are the ones who helped make this all worth it.

Hi. I am going to keep this rather brief, because I do not even want to be making this post in the first place.

Things in my personal life are not going well at all. One of our family pets just passed away this morning, exactly one day after the one year anniversary of another pet’s passing. I am completely devastated at this, as well as my mother and our remaining pet. It was a rather sudden loss and I have been stressed out for days leading up to it, and I am not doing well with this at all. I do not think I will be well for a while.

To keep it short, I am going to take a hiatus. I am emotionally and mentally depleted and have no desire to keep updating this blog for the time being. This was a hard decision to come to and I am sure it will be a disappointment for you all, which I am sorry. It takes a lot of energy lately to update daily as it is, and I just cannot bring myself to right now.

What does this mean for the future of this blog and my journey? I do not know, but I am truly sorry. If you wish to check up on me or chat with me later on, I may give out my personal blog or my twitter if you so wish.
