Vivid lights...
And the wind was blowing through the small holes of the fence. An eye was looking through it at the grass field. The weeds swayed with the wind, shining under the bright sun. The air carried the fresh scent of earth and wildflowers, filling the observer with a sense of calm.
The shadows of the dark were lost in the woods, deep beneath layers of rock and muck. It was as if there was no way to reach out from the bottom, but the top was calling like a siren, making it feel worth the climb. The trees stood tall, their branches whispering secrets to the sky, while the underbrush created a labyrinthine path, inviting yet intimidating.
Birds chirped melodiously, their songs blending with the rustling leaves. A stream trickled nearby, its water glistening like liquid diamonds in the sunlight. The eye behind the fence longed to venture beyond, to feel the cool grass underfoot and to breathe in the freedom that lay just out of reach.
Yet, something held it back—a fear of the unknown, of the darkness that lurked beneath the beauty. But the call of the top, the promise of something greater, was irresistible. It was a battle between the comfort of the known and the allure of the unexplored.
With a deep breath, the observer made a choice. The gate creaked open, and the world beyond the fence awaited, full of potential and mystery.

With reference to my last post, which was a year back.
"What does the new year bring? 365 opportunities" and along with it lots and lots of procrastination, and a gazillion tasks and things to do.

Beyond Good & Evil 2: E3 Trailer is out!
Yes! Yes! Yes! BGE 2 Trailer is out.
youtube
So Beyond Good & Evil 2 seems to be quite different from the first version. Double Crossing, Foul Language, Blood, Hooliganism  and so in.
The location seems to be Asia-tic, a lot of places you can see Hindi Written.
Tumblr media
What is funny is that you can see ‘Raju Bhandar’ written on the name board for the joint along with ‘Turkish Delight’ and ‘Lassi’.
I am so happy to see this trailer out. Although the trailer is not a gameplay trailer but damn it is so satisfying. Looks like I need to soon buy a PS 4 (@zvan I hope you are checking this out :P )
Here are some more concept art images

Here are some of the characters from the trailer

And Lastly Dakini. Since this is going to a Prequel to the first part, Looking at the green eyes I am assuming that Dakini is Jade’s mother or a close relative.
Tumblr media
Some awesome references in the trailer to the first part of BGE. 0:05 - Baby PeyJ maybe? 0:36 - Another resemblance to PeyJ 1:06 - Mammago Garage Poster 2:58 - Mammago Rhino  3:00 - Box of k-bup (Completely restores your energy :P) 3:03 - Passes the M-Disk 3:14 - Green eyes, call back to Jade. Jade’s mother? 3:16 - Original BGE theme.

Nostalgia
Playing my favorite games on PS2 along with Zvan. The feeling is amazing. The only thing missing is a few friends with whom I am played those game back in my childhood. Sam & Moiz you are being missed! Finished playing Jak & Daxter: The precursor Legacy. Back then it felt like a big game. One of the first platformer game that I played and one of my favorite.
Started playing Beyond Good & Evil. The music is so beautiful and out of this world. Here are the youtube links to some of the great music it has Link 1 Link 2
Looking forward to play Jak 2: Renegade. Shall keep you peeps updated!

Should I create a clone of a popular SaaS with rock-bottom pricing?
After years of lurking on the Y Combinator’s Hacker News community I finally decided I will post my first discussion on the community with respect to my journey towards building my first SaaS product.
Initially I was like this would sound like a very stupid question to ask the HN community but guess what the discussion made it to the front page of HN and was ranked #2 on the list. It made it to the front page for more than 12 hours. The post made around 353 points and 207 comments.
Here is the analysis of the post:
Most of the discussion was around, that the pricing is just one of the factors for customers when choosing the product and that if I was looking to build a SaaS product clone then there has to be some more better offering as compared to the competitors as to stand out from the ground and rock-bottom pricing makes your product attract cheap customers which require support and other services similar to that of high paying customers.
47.4% people were in favor that I should clone the product but not for rock bottom pricing.
15.3% people were in favor that I shouldn't think of cloning the product with the hope of getting customers based on rock bottom pricing along but that there are many other factors which are required (e.g. customer acquisition, branding, trust, domain knowledge, etc)
14.2% people were in favor that I should pursue it only if I can create a really good clone and have something more to offer as compared to the original SaaS irrespective of the pricing.
14.2% people were in favor that I should build the clone with rock-bottom pricing.
8.9% people were in favor that I should clone the product, solve issues with the product and price it higher than the competitors
Looks like I would be doing some more research on how I need to start with the SaaS industry and which specific niche should I choose to begin with.
Stay tuned. I am looking forward to take you through my journey of building SaaS product.
