Christians who think Hazbin is even trying to offend them are babies. They didn’t even put God or Jesus in the show in fear of going “too far”. I’ve seen a few of these people in the crit tags and they would literally cry and shit their pants if they saw one episode of Moral Orel.

Boohoo Adam is a frat boy? If they were really trying to piss you off Adam wouldn’t be a douche, he would be an abusive Stone Age misogynist. The show has Lilith in it. Her story is that she was cast out of Eden because she refused to submit to/have sex with Adam. Think about that for a second.

Many Christians believe that anyone who isn’t a Christian goes to hell, even Jewish people. I used to attend a church that preached this. It wasn’t like an evangelical or “crazy” church either it was a corporate nondenominational mega church. If Hazbin was really trying to criticize Christians hell would be jam-packed with 2/3 of the Earth.

Hazbin Hotel’s “critique” of Christianity is so superficial I can’t imagine anyone who actually watched the show getting offended by it. Even South Park goes harder.

I was worried he would be turned into a “jerk sue” and that his behavior would just be quirky and a sad coping mechanism for him and he would face no accountability ever. TADC without Jax would be like total drama island without Heather.

Some Nevermore fans completely miss the point of Annabel and Lenore’s relationship

This isn’t directed at the people who think Annabel is evil and they don’t actually care about eachother, although I disagree with them too. It’s the people who think that because Annabel and Lenore have feelings for each other every single thing about their relationship is healthy no matter what because it’s SO DEEP.

Like, if they just kissed and made up already this comic would suck. One of the main conflicts of the story would have the most unsatisfying ending ever if some of you got what you think you wanted.

Annabel wants nothing more than to live a second time with Lenore. The two have basically been thrown into the ghost hunger games for the deans’ entertainment. Annabel believes that Lenore if going to get them both killed by forming bonds with her classmates and protecting them. However, we as the audience know this isn’t true. The deans will not let Annabel just win with Lenore, and the other students need eachother if they’re going to be reborn.

HOWEVER, Annabel’s actions have deeply hurt Lenore. She almost let Duke, one of Lenore’s best friends, die to get one over Montresor. Annabel doesn’t understand why Lenore cares about her friends so much because she has practically no meaningful relationships of her own aside from Lenore. Lenore was locked away for YEARS in her life, and she craves companionship more than anything. Lenore will do whatever it takes to defend her friends. It will take chapters upon chapters of growth and character development if these two are ever going to trust each other again. Annabel’s actions are understandable in the situation these characters are in. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN EVERYTHING SHE DOES IS HEALTHY, GOOD, OR 100% JUSTIFIED! Treat the morally gray characters like they’re actually morally gray and not just an edgy version of the protagonist please please please
