We ordred 연어사시미(sashimi of Salmon) and 차돌박이 숙주볶음(stir fried dishes of beef brisket with sprouts). It was all a great success. After we finished these two dishes, we then ordered 새우버터구이(baked shrimp with butter) and 차돌짬뽕탕(spicy noodle soup with beef brisket in it). 새우버터구이(baked shrimp with butter) -> Yummy yummy 차돌짬뽕탕(spicy noodle soup with beef brisket in it) -> Spicy spicy.. It tasted good but I am not fond of spicy food so it was a bit difficult to eat. The four of us ordered 4 menu items. The amount of food was reasonable; not too much and not too little. We then ordered 쏘토닉; a mixture of soju + tonic water and lemon. (Some call it 레토쏘 but it's the same) If you think that Soju is too bitter, then this is a good alternative. This place has a great atmosphere and delicious food although it's not very big inside. Tables can seat 4 to 5 so it would be good place for couples or a group of 2 or 3. I found the ‘런던82[London 82]’ pub on my way home. I entered the pub and the mood inside was awesome. It was old-fashioned and peaceful, not crowded and boisterous like so many other bars. 맛찬들[Mat-chan-deul] is a franchise restaurant, famous for Samgyeopsal (pork belly). You can see the sign in front of the door. It’s the third major Samgyeopsal restaurant in Korea. No proof, but I agree with that. [Uijeongbu cafe] Twosome Place in millakdong Millakdong Twosome place is located inside the box. Starbucks is by the road, but Twosome is a bit harder to find than Starbucks. When you enter the café, there is a bar table and the owner prepares two chargers for customers. How kind is that! When you come early for your appointment or have free time before your class in Milak 2 distict, it’s a good place to take a rest while looking out of the window. (Please don��t take the chargers with you.) On the 2nd floor, there are two big tables to accommodate big parties. It’s a good place to get together. When I was there, there were nine people sitting at a table looking comfortable. I like both Starbucks and the Twosome place here in Milak-2 district as they are people-less. But Twosome is quieter. (I am not a social phobic!) In Seoul, many cafeterias are always crowded, that’s why. Free Wifi: They offer two free wifi services for each floor but the network occasionally disconnects. I am not sure whether it’s a problem with my laptop or the wifi. The Starbucks wifi is better in my experience. Two years ago, there was nothing here. But now there's a Costco, Emart, a Lotte outlet, Lotte Cinema, Megabox and so on; it lets me stay in Milak more and more. Later on, an NC department store, a KPOP Cluster from YG entertainment, and a Shinsegae outlet will open and people will visit here a lot. Let’s enjoy till then. My general review is that this café is for quiet times, yet it's roomy enough for big parties. [Uijeongbu restaurant] 가족[GA-JOK]- pig's foot in millakdong Our family went to 가족[GA-JOK] to eat pig's feet with somaek (a mixture of soju and beer). We ate dinner already but my mom suddenly got a taste for pig's feet. I grabbed my cardigan and off we set. The place is a reasonable size and there was a space '포장판매' for people who wanted a take out (look for the red sign in the middle). There were tables outside and when the weather is fine it's good to eat there and feel the cool air in the evening. I used to go to the 장충왕족발 (Jangchung-wang-Jokbal: another restaurant selling pig's feet) as my family do, but these days I prefer the 가족. I translated a few menu items for you - see below. (If you add 3,000W then you can order the new menu – garlic, honey and barbeque flavors added to the pig's feet.) Our family ordered 앞발 (front feet) as my mother said they taste the best.. A few minutes later, it came out and we mixed soju with beer. It was yummy as I expected. 가족(GA-JOK) is a franchise and has to be judged case by case but its advantage is you can enjoy a standardized taste. Lotte Cinema It’s located on the 8-9F plot in the Lotte outlet and it’s not too big in size. I have reserved movie tickets 2-3 hours before the movie and there were always enough seats left. In Uijeoung bu city there are 4 movie theatres. Two CGV movie theatres are near Uijeungbu station and the Lotte cinema and Megabox are in Milak dong. People visit CGV much more than the Lotte cinema or Megabox because they are brand new and accessibility is still good for the neighbourhood. So the advantage of coming here, the movie theatre of Lotte cinema, for example, is that you can enjoy watching a movie, without going far if you live here and it’s not that loud. I am actually CGV VVIP and got a bunch of coupons, but I prefer coming here for the reasons I mentioned above. It’s also clean and I can select good seat in the middle even when I reserve ticket few hours before (depending on the movie’s popularity). I used to visit often when it opened, but now I visit it for the Lotte Cinema, not for the outlet store. This is because there are not many things I want to buy and the Shinsegae department store is better for shopping and it also has cheap stuff when it’s on sale. It’s my personal opinion and please refer to it. I hope the NC department store in Milak will open soon!! YET..The Lotte outlet is the best shopping place in Milak-dong, if you don’t want to go downtown (near Uijeoung-bu station, there is the Shinsegae department store). A lot of street markets are opened now in Milak-dong. I'm also waiting for the NC department store to open on Dec 19th. At the Lotte outlet, you can shop brand goods at discounted prices. Its parking lot is from B1 to B5 and it has enough space up to now. B1- Daiso (selling cheap household items and so on) and an event space. 1F - Brand shoes including Tandy, Misope, Elcanto and Lottetops, selling brand bags and clothing (Online tax-free shops or the United States are cheaper, of course). 2F-5F- Clothing for women, men and kids. 6F- Another discount outlet– super cheap but not much to chose from. 7F- Restaurants 8F-9F- Lotte Cinema(의정부 민락동 롯데시네마에서) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn6L7FpHfbz/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1btf6jv9zos5q

Everybody likes Starbucks, I think? There are a bunch of different kinds of coffees, personal orders, and free WIFI. A Starbucks is in Millak-2 district! It's near the Lotte outlet store and easy to find. In some Starbucks, you can't find seats as there are too many people, but don't worry here. There are many tables and seats not occupied.
