I liked working in care a lot, and it's a job that benefits me. I learned sensitivity and people skills, I obtained a frank and honest relationship wih bodies and ageing, and I gained a genuine appreciation for the rights and dignity of people that I never used to spare a thought for. The work itself wasn't bad, the company was. If it paid better and the work wasn't as genuinely injurious due to the way things are done, I'd still be happily doing it, and would do it forever
