#eating disorder mention#yeah i do think there is something going on there out of da ordinary#somewhere on the spectrum of problems associated w depression/exhaustion#and yeah a more head on angle — problems w feeling lack of control / autonomy pretty obvious canon basis#makes me so insanely sadddd. HAWK… he talks so much about food he likes precanon. mannn#one of tha big reasons i do like to put a lot of focus in most fics i write postwar#on him reapproaching that gently + slowly w/understanding from people who Get It#whether its the focus of the fic or not. takes time and care to start to heal that kind of thing and i like seeing it approached#when carlye sees him again and tells him he looks thinner and paler. yells in2 pillow
