Mum, happy posthumous birthday. It would had been your 90th birthday today. Hmmm, iye Deji, we would had painted Oke Bola red once again. The whole place would had been buzzing with foods, music and laughters. All that died with you two years ago. Who will not miss the hot ikokore that would had been served this morning, the cow that would had been slaughtered would be begging us to spare him one more day, the freebies for all the neighbours hmmmm!!! The world, the family and certainly the community you lived changed since your demised. I am sure, 100 of Covid-19 would not be able to stop today’s celebration. Help and save me from Virgin Holidays- Number 1 Rogues Trader.
I booked my summer holiday with them to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday.
The holiday pack to Miami & Caribbean islands cost £10, 420. We set out on the 29th August and by 2nd September we are asked to return due to hurricane Dorian.
For the past two months, Virgin holidays have been tossing us around and trying to avoid refunding our money.
The funniest part is that, their executive customer relations officer (Laura Pike) claimed it is Royal Caribbean International that will give credit ( please note CREDIT) not refund the money to the credit card we used.
When we booked the flight, Virgin holidays did not informed that they are just an agent, they refused to give the break down of what £10,420 cover I.e flight to Miami, hotel or the cruise part.
RCI, slimily advised they will return credit of £1329 which is less than one tenth of the whole money paid.
They claim the credit can be used when next we want to book another holiday with them.
Who will return to have anything to do with the Rogues? They knew we can not come back and will certainly not want to have anything to do with the Rogues Traders in future.
Virgin Holidays and Royal Caribbean International want us to continue to pay interest on the credit card.
Please help me to post to all social media, so as to prevent other families falling a victim.
