For my video i took inspiration from the Sydney Sweeney video which made me want to include different mini clips within my video; I also wanted to use cartoon characters in my video which would create a different look and be more out there. One cartoon character which i thought fitted well for my video was Jessica Rabbit as she gives of the glam confident look which is what i asked my models to try and create.

Another sound i used was a poem from Dazed called ‘This now’ i only used snippets from this sound which mention change as in my video i want the audience to feel like everyone should be able to do what they want and change is needed.

For my video i used two different sounds. One of the sounds i used was Harry Styles ‘As it was’ song but just using the instrumental part to it. I used this sound as i love the as it was in the song about change and i found it was up beat for the look which i wanted my video to have with it.

My main inspiration which changed how i wanted to show my video was coming across these vintage beauty clips. I wanted to use this to get my male model to do similar actions to the lady in the clip.

I wanted to create a light effect throughout my video using one which i found on youtube i placed on top of my video which makes the clips look interesting and the effect of light coming in when it isn’t. When placing the clip on top i turned down the opacity down to between 20-70 %.

For my video i used different types of editing to achieve the final look of my video; Some of my editing clips i took from youtube to create a more interesting look for my video.

This was my initial plan for my Shoot 1 however this just ended up being a test shoot for lighting. Lighting was a major part for my concept as I wanted the lighting to look bright initially however when i did some shoots darker i realised i did like the effect it gave off but in the end i did end up using brighter images so I could edit more on the photo with a whiter background.

This was my initial idea for my video when I initially started thinking of how i was going to get my concept across however, I started to move away from the streetwear look and more look at the vintage way which women put make up on and how men could do the same. The same with the sound as i didn’t end up going for the documentary style video i didn’t end up needing to use a voice over for my sound instead i went with music and an inspiring message.

taking clips of my friends to capture clips for my concept, using clips of a female helps when being placed next to my male model this is because it highlights how gender shouldn’t matter and males can do the same as females.

This video gave me the most inspiration as i really liked the look of the editing of including different clips which are relevant to the topic. I would like to include this idea in my video as it would create more of an interest into my concept.

Another fashion film using split screen in a different way to the Pretty Little Thing video however it makes me want to use this editing skill in my own video.

Another short fashion video which i took inspiration from was the Louis Vuitton. I enjoyed the opacity leading into the main part of of the video. This idea I could use for my video.

For my video i was looking to see how i would like to portray my video to make it look interesting for the people watching it. Watching the Pretty Little Thing X Molly Mae documentary I found myself drawn to the editing and would like to try some of these edits in my own film. In particular i liked having the split screens and the retro glitches in the documentry.

For my publication i didn’t want it to look too boring so i searched on google “organic png objects” i then chose which ones i thought was suitable for my publication to make it look more interesting towards the images.

I originally wanted to have my model pose like the Calvin Klein advertisement/ magazines however i realised this wasn’t specific to my concept or would represent it. It wouldn’t work as the model would look too masculine and i needed him to have a feminine look towards him.

For this image, I used the crinkled background again and placed the photo of the model over the top blending him in by turning down the opacity followed by adding on an overlay to give it the look of having light on the image. Adding another box i added the same image and lined it up to where it should be on the actual photo to give it a raised look.
