The idea is to build a life-size doll box that has a mirror instead of the plastic on the front side.

The toybox would be put in a space where people could walk in front of it and have a chance to reflect. the idea comes from the conclusion that humans are designed by the system they live in. I would like to give people the chance to acknowledge and come to the conclusion that a lot of the things that we as humans do are not by our own free well like we tend to think sometimes but it is constructed by the systems by the government by consumerism and by advertising.

With this work I would like to get out of the past and the future which I like to include in my work and for a second stay in the present. I think this is very important for my work as well for people to realize how we are being designed. I chose a doll box because I would like to describe us being designed the way Barbie dolls or action figures are designed for kids. Also I think making it as a toy box would attract attention as it is a very playful design and people could easily interact with it. I think putting a serious topic into this kind of context would make it easier for people to understand the idea behind it. I think people don't have to get the idea behind the doll box and they can always interpret it in their own ways but I think it's a very straightforward and easy to spread this message in this kind of way. Choosing to do a toy box for this kind of serious topic in a way I think is very connected to it the topic by itself. The idea of being designed of being constructed by the system is easily connected to capitalism and capitalism is connected to corporate design. By designing a life-size toy box or a doll box I think the message is very clear and I want the people to see the idea of being designed and constructed through the story of this doll box standing there.

I would call the “action figure” inside  a “Humanoid” instead of human because I want to connected more to androids and this kind of idea of being made and constructed instead of just something coming from nature which would be a human.

AR glasses

I decided to build AR glasses that lead the spectator through the experience of my universe.

I wanted to create AR glasses because a lot of big companies are building their own to easily become a part of the meta-verse the Digital universe. Also VR glasses can be used and are used but I decided to connect my world with VR glasses because I think the physical is equally important as the digital. By creating my own AR glasses I want to pass on the message to all the creators that they can easily make their own universes and don't have to comply to big tech matter versus. By creating AR glasses instead of VR glasses IM able to connect my sculptures which present the end of my characters lives they present just there physical and visual characteristics. With the animation and adding the glasses I wanted to show their life their emotions and their mental capabilities.

I also wanted to make the spectator a part of the exhibition itself, a part of the installation by creating different helmets or headpieces which would have AR glasses built into them.Also by making the spectator a part of my universe he also brings another dimension to the exhibit peace because instead of just waiting for your turn to put on the glasses you'll get to experience this human like creature which moves like a human but it is more part of the displayed universe. By that the spectator also becomes the performer.

“Stultus”

This creature was a mistake. Mistake of nature. Unfortinutely two blobs connected with some human remains. Usually doesn’t happen but this was a 1 in a milion shot. It can’t decide to leave the universe and it can’t produce blobs. It is a parasite and could easily leach on a oculus,but it does nothing except just exist on the donor body. It doesn’t kill it nor does it help in any way.

Just a huge inconvinience.

“Tamus”

This creature is very important as it has something that a lot of creatures don’t-he experiences the world by touch. Those green things on it’s face are the tenticles or hands it uses to feel the universe. It translates the touch into smell. Those nostril looking holes on its face are the smell holes where the touch turnes into smell and than in disperses into air. “Tamus” is blind and this is one of the creatures that is more simmilar to our animals and doesn’t have human-like features. As these characters dont live on a materialistic world it has the abillity to touch energies and matter so it can communicate to other universes . They have the ability to duplicate when one decides to leave the universe.

“The oculus one”

This oculus was created by a blob that contained a piece of a blob from an oil creature that's why its body looks like that.Its body is a shell for his eye and that is the only function of his body as he doesn't move. It is one of a kind and there has never been one that has looked the same as it. He uses his eye to go deep into the past and to see parallel timelines from parallel universes.It translates only the bad as it is trying to help his own kind not to make the same mistakes other species have done. It lives as long as it likes and once it decides it is no longer capable of doing its job it releases a blob and waits for it to develop before passing away. These creatures have the ability to decide when they live and when they die. They can also catch diseases but they don't leave the universe by dying from it they have the ability to decide. Once they decide to leave and once the blob is fully developed into another oculus they join the oculus god in the void and wait to be summoned again.

“The Godes”

This character is the only god with a gender. And she is female. She created this world, she designed all the characters, she sees all and she knows all. She is the representation of a human woman but in a form of a universe God. Honestly she is here because I wanted to represent all the women in my life as they should be represented and that is as gods. The woman in the human race is the creator of life. That is how I wanted to connect this character to our universe and our universe to theirs. Without her hexavers wouldn't be possible because if it wasn't for her no one would actually exist. She has the capability to share her invirtus with anyone she wants but it is not common for her to do so. I wanted to create her to pay homage to all the women in my life that have worked very hard in creating. As the gods are the most important part of this universe because they represent the human construction part in our universe.

She is the godes of design and life.

“Oculus God”

This character is the guide of all oculus beings. The god does not exist but is in the memories of the oculus creatures. It existed in the start of the universe and it has used its own infirtus to create the oculus creatures and then it passed away. The god was very important in the start of the universe because it had data visual data from all other universes but when it created the oculus there was no need for it to stay in this universe and it just moved on to another avoid waiting for a creation of another universe.

“Infirtus”

This is the visualization of my characters DNA strain. If there's nothing like ours but yet it is. DNA is a self replicating material that is present in nearly all living organisms as the main constituent of chromosomes. It is the carrier of genetic information. The fundamental and distinctive characteristics or qualities of someone or something, especially when regarded as unchangeable. I wanted to give my characters also their DNA, they are carrier of genetic information. After considering that they are very different from us I wanted to make their DNA also round and made out of different side circles as our DNA such as other things in our world is symmetrical I wanted to make theirs asymmetrical. A lot of the things in our world can be explained by the Golden rule by symmetry but in their world symmetry doesn't exist. So the only thing I could do was make a round asimetrical DNA. As this connects them more to us makes them more like us I think they would be more relatable. Yes DNA is a molecule composed of two poly nucleotide chains that coil around each other to form a double helix carrying genetic instructions for development, functioning, growth and reproduction of all known organisms and many viruses. I decided that in their species only god like beings which would make the soulmates and the mask only godlike beings at the planet. They are the only ones that actually have their DNA they are the only ones that can pass on their genetic information to their descendants. Everyone else just has blobs in them that connect to other blobs and create characters.

In that kind of breeding genetic information isn't passed on to other generations only the good characteristics end up in the blob that is discharged and created for mating. While creating different characters more than two blobs can connect and make a being. The character created in this way has infinity combinations and nobody actually can tell beforehand how they're gonna look like. It takes 17 months in human time to create a being out of the connected blogs, which is five hours in Hexaverse. Back to their DNA which they call infertus. The infertus is constructed out of 7 circles which are made out of their nerve systems and they are pieced together with a yellow mucus. Only the gods and only those three gods have the possibility to pass on their Infertus to chosen characters. The gods pass on their DNA only when one of the characters deserves to rise up to God status.

“Quisquiliae”

Oil based creatures

There is no water in hexaverse. There is only oil. These oil based creatures are very simple organisms that don't have the ability to procreate. These are mostly creatures that are left behind by other universes. The piece of shit human is also a part of the oil world in this universe. These characters don't have a big importance in the universe itself but they are here to teach the characters a thing or two about parallel universe is or other universes that existed before them or are existing parallel to them. Except “O” ,this microorganism can procreate and is very usefull in the new universe as it turnes the dirt and the ramains of oil based creatures that have no place on this planet into diamonds.They are very rare and characters love to have them as pets and aquariums because they are very different from them. Sometimes they like to do experiments on the creatures just to see what they can endure. But this has caused some issues in the past because characters played with the remains of other universes instead of studying them for using their characteristics for the further development of the universe.

“O”

Clay is the perfect medium for this project. It is very easy to shape it and make ideas come to reality. It makes me want to create more extravagant shapes. It is easier to shape than lines on paper because it is material. It lets me use my hands to form a 3-D shapes to easily make my characters more real. At least for me. I think it is very important to give them materiality because it gives them space in our universe. Clay is a very complex yet easy material to use especially when trying to create something directly from my head. Sometimes sketches on paper can't really translate the idea in full and by using clay it lets me create the sense of existence. I think it's very important to use this kind of medium that lets me create fast and easy and it's a very big contrast to the digital as I want to create this connection between the digital and the physical world. Clay lets me run free. There are no rules and there are no restrictions.

This particular piece on the picture was created solely by movement. By trying to connect pieces in my head and letting my hands run free I have been able to create a blob out of clay. After staring at it and studying its shape first I wanted to paint it in the colors of a planet create a weirdly shaped rock which would be the home to my characters. But after looking at it for a while I kind of realized that my characters don't live on a physical kind of planet they don't live in the physical world only their remains and their sculptures are combined in our material world.

After analyzing the object for a while after dying it a pink color it looks like a very simple water organism or oil based. After deciding it was an oil based simple organism I decided not to include any human like features like eyes or mouth or teeth or anything human at all. At that moment I decided to make a new species which would be oil based animals that are similar to our water base animals but their skin is much much different.

This micro organism is very important in sustaining normal conditions in the new universe. It is used to filter dirt and turn it into diamonds and diamonds are used for food for certain kinds of plants on the planet. This microorganism doesn't have a name the characters just call it ‘O’ as it creates onomards (diamonds) which feed plants.

"Oculus”

Oculus is a breed of my characters. They are land creatures that see everything that is going on in the universe. They don't have to be there to see. Their eyes are the most prominent feature on their bodies and they are the only sense they use. These are the creatures that have one of the human features which would be eyes as they connect to our universe in the visual sense. They are creatures that have been on this universe for a long time. They are created through blobs uniting and only one creature can have the eye but it is always transferred as a good feature through the blob to other generations. The idea behind the eye is that all of the virtual memory is stored in the eye and it is used to tell the visual story through generations. The creature that gets the eye through the blob has the ability to see the past. Those creatures are there for storytelling and for keeping all the visual data throughout history. In this universe there will always be at least one character that will have the eye and those are the only creatures except cards that can see the past the present and the future as it is meant to be. Their sole purpose on this universe is to collect all visual data and pass it on throughout generations. By having those creatures the universe has secured that history is always accurate. Only creatures with the prominent eye can see the past but they have the ability to share what they experience visually through goggles that connect directly to their eye which can translate visual language into touch or smell or any other way of communication for other creatures to be able to experience the past.

“Little helper”

This one is called the little helper because he is in charge of helping everyone in the universe. His soul purpose in this universe is to help everyone he comes in contact with. He is able to be in more than one places at once he has the ability to shift through time and space and be a support to everyone that needs him at any time. As they do sense time differently than we do and they have another concept of what time is the little helper isn't really going through the troubles that he would go through on this earth if he was capable of surviving here. That's why his eyes are connected to his head through tentacles because he communicates with the eyes and he is able to communicate with multiple souls at once.

Creating a universe

I am continuing last year's work soulmates and the mask by creating more sculptures that are a part of another type of universe.

I would like to take the parts that make us human and deconstruct them and put them into this imaginary world that could've been. I started designing different characters that combine into this imaginary world that is designed by me. I look at the world and I can only come to the conclusion that today's humans are manufactured and designed by the systems they live in. I tried to dissociate from the story of human creation and I wanted to add in the theory that today's humans are designed by the system bye capitalism and by media. I wanted to go to the start and create some things that is different much much different from the humans we know today. By taking this idea of design into consideration I started designing different characters that could have been made if our development took a different route. I know this is a world designed by me which would be the same theory I go by that our world is designed by humans and everything we currently know is human made but I would like to take out human construction out of it. By human construction I mean norms rules ideas what a good human would be and how a human should act. I also decided to take take out the standards of beauty and in general human features but decided to keep some of them. I decided to put the focus on the eyes because I am a very visual person and a lot of the things I come up with come from my site and how I see and how I connect the visuals into this bigger picture.

Every character has their own story and they have their own role in the universe. Which could be easily said for humans to that's why they are very connected to our reality but also managing to design their own.

The idea is to make a lot of them and in the end choose which ones are going to be the ones to tell the story but I will develop stories for each one I create.

The idea is to create space to build installation where you can go in and experience their world with all of your senses. Like to combine the physical world through the glass sculptures and the digital world through AR glasses that would have animations of the characters. The clay sculptures present the characters after their death like sculptures of famous kings and queens and the animations or the digital world represents their dreams hopes emotions during their life. They do have Life and death just like we do but they experience it differently. Their idea of death isn't the same as ours.

Luminescent bees - Instalation 

2021

I have collected luminescent peables and I randomly found them just in time to make an instalation out of them. The idea is to use transluscent thread to make the peables look like a swarn of bees flying. In the instalation there will be a motion sensor and two small speakers connected to an arduino nano. Once the spectator goes to the spot and wawes his hand trugh the swarn of bees the sensor will be trigered and play a sound of bees buzzing (autotuned sound) 

The idea is to also make luminescent honey using honey and luminescent food coloring. Also, the idea was to make a box for the honey resembeling medication boxes and market it as a new medical honey.

Soulmates/The mask part II

I wanted to use the sculptures I made and make them react to the spectators touch.I wanted to make them more “human” so the spectator can relate to them in a way. 

By using an arduino uno and conductive paint I will connect the sculptures to the animations. 

Animations are going to be on three spots on each sculpture representing their emotions, memories and fears.

Crispr and the story about the bees

2018-2021

I have noticed that I reference bees and bee behaviour a lot. Started thinking why and how can I conect it to everything I do. From the swarn behaviour of the bee (communication trough vibration) to the crispr bee and making them glow in the dark. 

My grandad was a beekeeper. I loved watching him handle them. I loved watching the behaviour between him and the bees. I didn’t understand much when I was a kid but I understood that there was a comunication between the bees and my grandad. As I grew I got interested and reaserched their behaviour and the importance of it in their communication with eachother. I started reaserching the paterns, the honey , the idea of them in our ecosystem and the importance of their “job”. 

Fast forward to 2019 my grandad was long gone but the bees were still there. That was their home and all they knew. Watching them sparked the idea in me to make them glow in the dark as I reaserched crispr out of pure interest in gmo tehnology. Many would argue this is science fiction but I would say this is just science. People are making glow in the dark monkeys nowadays and crispr is wildly used. I had this idea of a closed ecosystem that would house the glow in the dark bees . Why? Because a bee that glows in the dark and is geneticly modified can easily ruin the ecosystem we now know . But would their sting have medical properties? Maybe . It is a concept a theory. I would need a lot of scientists and profesionals working on this to find out what would actually happen if bees had crispr. 

To make glow in the dark honey there are proteins that can be aded so it can glow in the dark . So I wouldnt actually have to make bees that glow in the dark to make the honey . But the glow in the dark part is a sideeffect of crispr anyways so using crispr by modifying the bees could make them have medical properties that can help humans? Honey made by crispr bees could have healing properties? Those are some questions I’m interested in. I think those questions are newer going to be answered or maybe they will. But we can still wonder.
