I still think elias should act how jon imagines a father would. Stern, firm, yet so patient. So competent and rational and responsible. Can be so warm, in those moments. A steady hand on his back breath hot on his neck so understanding , only ever disappointed, gently but firmly putting him right back in his place like it was never a question, nothing he says leaves any room to argue back or question, so Mature so self assured so so so.
