hey! i'm relatively new to the langblr community--i've followed langblrs for some time, but i've never participated fully. my language background is as follows: i am an american, and i speak english fluently. i attended a french immersion elementary school, and though i formerly spoke french fluently, nowadays it'd be safer to say that i am an advanced speaker. i spent 6 weeks in turkey last summer with a language-learning scholarship program, and i speak beginner-bordering-on-low-intermediate turkish. in the future, i hope to learn: armenian (western), kurdish (kurmanji/kurmancî), laz, circassian, and possibly arabic, depending on how next year shakes out. if you see this post and happen to know anyone with similar target languages, i'd be grateful if you sent me their url :)
