You’re here, so you probably already know who I am. But in case you're lost: I’m AnaGabriela Pilar Lopez and this is where I say what I think, live how I want and share the stories no one else dares to tell. If you’re here to watch, sit tight. If you're here to judge? Well, good luck keeping up.

Honestly, you should. It’d probably give everyone at your desk a reality check. TikTok’s got a way of making nonsense look like genius.
I’ve been good, just busy. But yeah, it’s been way too long since we’ve actually had a proper chat. I’m guessing that rebel kid from your congregation has been staying out of trouble, huh?
Which is most likely why TikTok is so popular in the first place. I think I need to print these words & post them on my desk for how true they are & so that everyone else can appreciate them as well.
How've you been, Ana? Feels like I haven't spoken to you in forever which I'm glad we're remedying now.

Sure, Sylvester. Which case are we talking about? I was actually thinking of stopping by, I need those files I accidentally forgot on your desk the other day. Can the compensation be a little more exciting than cheap beer in sketchy bars this time?
Hey, so I was wondering if I could interview you for a podcast episode. I'm doing one of the cases you worked on, and I'd obviously compensate you for your time. @anagabrielalopez

You looked like someone who needed a little advice so I gave you mine. Most people are too nice to just be real with you, but you look like someone who could use a little real talk. Maybe it'll do you some good, but hey, it’s your call. Take it or leave it.
That is not what it is at all. You don't get it. You're not very sympathetic. If someone is struggling or asks for advice or help you should be nice and offer help. I don't get overwhelmed by pressure, I get overwhelmed by people and noises and other things. I don't "freak out" and just want some time by myself, some peace and quiet, and I was just asking if there was somewhere I can do that instead of going back to my apartment.

Miles, you're absolutely brilliant, my friend. Honestly, for me, it’s the way you deliver these questions with a straight face so we never know if you're joking or just asking something totally nonsensical while your brain is clearly running at half speed. Absolute cinema.
Like I can just picture your face right now, it's amazing. Never change, kiddo. And yeah, it’s busy but nothing I can’t handle. Criminals have families too so personally I think they should take a break and enjoy the holidays before they end up in prison but they seem to disagree oh well
Erm, I don't even have a response for that. I am not on set at the moment so do I have to be awake for it right now? No, but I can promise you I am usually always awake and alert when I am directing. Thanks.
How busy is it over the holidays? I can imagine busier then usual.

Front row, huh? Sure, I'll be there, just don't expect me to stay awake through it all. It's Shakespeare, right? Super boring stuff.
In other news, last night my upstairs neighbor was auditioning for worst guitarist in history at 2 a.m. I'm currently debating if I should file a noise complaint or just go upstairs and introduce his drumsticks to his face next time. How’s your week looking?
I want you to be there front row. Then, you can see what all the fuss is about!

The lack of focus these days is honestly a little ridiculous.
People seem to think they’re entitled to film everything now. The whole TikTok culture? It’s just... noise. I get it, they want to feel relevant, but at a certain point, it becomes disrespectful. Some boundaries should be clear you know.
So I know the girls are always filming TikToks before & after practice, but at least I run a tight enough ship that they know absolutely not to do it during practice. But I'm pretty sure I saw some giggly group of teens apparently filming in the church lobby? Not that cameras at the church are new, but for a TikTok? Really?

Seems like a mix of connecting, sharing ideas and maybe some self promotion. I mostly use it to size people up, I think it's far better than tinder. At least here I can sit back and watch how people talk to each other before I even think about wasting my time. Anyone who sounds like an idiot? Instant pass. But if someone can hold an actual conversation, they get my attention. It’s like a filter for the real world, no endless small talk or pretending to be interested during dates anymore.
is this how you make an introduction post here? It's been a while since I used this site, to be honest, I never thought it would be used again but I was wrong. I am going to introduce myself but I kind of would think you might know who I am. Oh wait maybe not unless you are musical fans then you might. Hi I'm Rachel Barbara Berry, Broadway Star and currently a Musical Theatre Professor at PSU and a Singing teacher if you want lessons. So what are people using this site for then?

Action films? Really? I mean, I don’t exactly see you as the ‘guy on the run’ type, don't you have to look like you're 100% awake for that? But I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Good luck with the scripts. And nothing exciting here unfortunately. LAPD doesn’t take holidays off and I’ll be on shift. Maybe I'll catch a little downtime between calls, but I’m not holding my breath.
My agent has sent me some scripts for potential films to direct, finally they are not a romcom and instead are actually action films and dramas. I am excited to read them and maybe find my next project. Don't worry this won't stop me from being your amazing professor if you are studying film studies, just means I will have something to do around the summer next year. However, we are approaching the end of the year which is crazy, has anyone got exciting things coming up before the end of the year?

Come on, Packman, you’re not exactly ancient, though I’m sure the 18 year olds probably think you’re one foot in the grave.
But don't freak out. You know it’s all about how you carry yourself. It’s like a game and the trick is not to be insecure about it. Now if it’s the fact that you have to share a space with teenagers that’s throwing you off... Yeah, I’d be rolling my eyes so hard they'd pop out of my skull. It’s a lot to take in. I don’t know if I could survive that either.
What the fuck is up, PSU? Not gonna lie, they gave me the info for this site when I got accepted and I completely forgot about until now. Feels weird being twenty-eight and a Freshman. My classes are filled with eighteen year olds and I'm freaked the fuck out. They're all looking at me like I'm an old man. Me? This pretty face? Please. Speaking of this pretty face, name's Nate. Who wants to show me around campus? Or better yet, tell me the ins and outs of what it's like here. What's the go to bar for the students? The cafe on campus suck? Etc.

I’m sure there are a few spots to hide away if you need to, but it’s more about managing your time and not freaking out over every little thing. If you're really feeling that overwhelmed, you should be looking for ways to handle pressure instead of just running from it.
So two months here at PSU and it's definitely a lot different than I expected. It's more chill and laid back than school, and everyone is really nice. I don't know why I thought it would be more strict. But I still don't know my way around campus, is there any like quiet rooms or some place a student can go if they're feeling overwhelmed or anxious? If not this college would really benefit from one.

Congratulations. It's a big deal to land a role, but I don’t know if losing your mind over it like this is the best way to handle things. Or... maybe you're just acting extra excited for the effect?
I’m so excited that I could honestly burst, and if I’m being completely truthful with myself I don’t think I could hold this in for much longer, but I wanted to say that yours truly just received a phone call in which, yours truly, has been cast! In a show! Outside of PSU!
Now before I completely lose my wits, pinch myself or find out that this was one colossal and realistic dream, I’ve just got to tell someone. So here I am, internet! I’ve just been cast in an all-female production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and I’ll be playing the swapped role of Lysandra. I’m so excited about this latest venture and do hope you’ll all come to see me!

Finishing a draft’s a step, no doubt. But it’s just the first part of the process. I’m sure you’ve got more work ahead of you, so don’t get too comfortable with the relief just yet. But hey, congrats anyway.
I’ve been keeping busy. Work’s been good, handling more cases, building up experience. Honestly, getting better at my job feels pretty productive to me. For Christmas? I could use a new planner and some new gear for work, maybe some cozy socks. Gotta stay organized and comfortable. Nothing too flashy.
Well finally I have finished the first draft of the final book of my series, the relief but fear of that being done. I can't believe my first ever book series is almost complete. I honestly am going to miss writing this series because it has been a dream. What is something productive everyone has done recently? Also random and unrelated what is on your Christmas lists?
