Ever since this show started airing again I've been thinking a lot about passion. The joy of being immersed in something you're passionate about makes you more attuned to the joy other people feel. You even look at strangers more warmly. You're happy for them because you know how it feels to be in love like that.

Panty & Stocking itself is a passion project. Broadly the charge is headed by a man still writing love letters to the shows and animation he has loved for a long time. From the jump you can tell everyone involved has been dreaming of making this show for the past fifteen years. It feels like a dream come true. It feels like wishes and prayers made manifest.

I haven't had a hyperfixation this bad since my teenage years were stolen from me by a Homestuck phase. It's making me existential. Every day I drive to work determined to survive the commute so I can make it to the next episode. This will be a generational OST drop and all I can think about is that one day I won't be able to listen to it any more. It makes me feel more invested in the world rather than feeling detached like usual.

What I'm trying to say is that PSG is fucking peak, and when people dismiss this show as cheap vulgarity, I find it unfortunate that they don't have the love in their eyes that I do.

dojo ep was meh. they want to establish the dynamics between the angels and demons now that they're working together but it's the funny bitch shitfuck show so there's not exactly a story to tell. they can't really get past the fact the demon sisters are kinda boring compared to the angels?

bitch perfect is fucking unhinged. all timer. home fucking run. the girls being so vain and desperate for validation that instagram likes make them cum is a great gag that slots right in with their characters. i wish this one could have been the whole eleven minutes, especially to add more tension to brief's part at the end. but i guess the strength of the western cartoon format is that they don't have to spend 20 minutes on a dud like most anime.

fuck & furious is another great idea, a bunch of sperm from a discarded tissue going on a road trip to get to panty's pussy, but it doesn't go as hard as it maybe could have? maybe it would have been funnier if i'd seen the movies. either way you can tell they're pacing themselves with the budget so we won't get a repeat of last time. it wouldn't be panty & stocking if there wasn't a dire corner cut here and there. whatever it takes man
