I temporarily lost my mind last October and decided to commit to 24-Hour Comics Day days after someone ran into me and totaled my car (I'm okay). I was supposed to create the entire comic from idea to writing to art completely in those 24 hours and only got to page 12 before I fell asleep. I then spent the next couple of months slowly working on it whenever I had a free hour or so the same way using mainly just a ballpoint pen and Sharpie so I wouldn't overthink it and start taking an hour sketching a page for a comic about a man going through his midlife crisis and wanting to fuck a bitchy puppet. My Valentine's Day card design this year! I hope you all had a nice holiday, I love giving my friends and family valentines. I think it's so cool that we have a holiday all about love.

Merry Christmas! This illustration with Filbert went on all the holiday cards I've been sending out this year (they're all coming a little late, but on their way nonetheless!)

I used to never send my own cards, but I've always had a huge soft spot for things that don't get as much attention anymore for being mildly irrelevant like personal mail and used to have an aunt who would send cards for every single thing. After she died, I didn't realize how much I had loved getting those cards and how many people I know that never get mail at all so I try to find an excuse to mail things all the time now because it's fun!

This year I am spending Christmas a little differently than usual, Christmas is always a complex time for me. I think sometimes I can tend to overcompensate with my festiveness to try and replace bad memories with happy ones but it's always a good holiday season when I'm able to see so many people I love who love me too. :D

How are you celebrating Christmas this year?

A few days late but here's my combination Halloween and update post for the comic I'm working on. I've talked about it a lot with peers and mentioned it in my stories but I never actually cemented it with a post where people could see permanently, so here it is!

I'm working on a comic, it's going to be messy but it'll be mine!! It's still in development and going a little slower than anticipated since it's all by myself, but I'm going to try and share that development with you all even though it's something I struggle to do. ESPECIALLY since it's something I struggle to do, I want to connect with everyone easier. I hope you all enjoy Edwin and his cats, I love them so much.

I wanted to put the feeling I get when I'm stressed, frustrated, and feel trapped by that into something visual.

This was an image I had in my head for a while and I really like how it turned out! I want to make more creepy/surreal stuff to share with you all.

Happy Make a Terrible Comic Day! I wanted to participate so badly, but just thinking about what kind of comic to make for today made me anxious so I used that as a prompt.

I'm a perfectionist who has a lot of trouble redoing things until they never get done. So this wouldn't happen to me today I set a timer for an hour (so I wouldn't try and redo everything), didn't let myself sketch, and drew and wrote whatever came to my mind first without changing it.
