I think the people online talking about Harry Potter boycotts with by sneering at reading a "mediocre children's book" or going after plot holes or inconsistencies with minor world-building details have honestly lost the plot about WHY we should be boycotting the franchise

A warning against playing it far too safe, about not stretching your wings and soaring properly? You ever think about how Icarus died because he was happy?
