My Advice
You might think you’re ready for this class but you have no idea.
Honestly, Don't Check ONCE NOR TWICE but CHECK THREE times on deadlines! Set up reminders buy an agenda because these Tumblr Posts are easy to forget... And when you do it will come back and bite you
you in the doughnut.
And if you can try to get the Film Doc done days before it is due to ensure more then enough time for editing. Cash in those extra credits and NEVER !!!! EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER!!!! Miss class. don't do it just don't.
GOOD LUCK

Week 14
Why do you think the structure and delivery of the film doc worked to achieve its advocacy?
I believe the structure and delivery of the film doc worked to achieve its advocacy because the structure was clear in format and the delivery was simple. In the film doc it was important to inform the audience why the topic is important and needs attention through facts. The film doc gave a visual on a solution to the problem and how running experiments can push kids to get more involved in STEAM. By giving the audience a visual and sound to kids learning and working together the audience and can see for them selves how much enjoyment and curiosity the kids have. Finally by providing the link in the film doc and the links provided in the description box the audience has multiple areas to go to to receive further information and a facebook page to join a group for further notification of STEAM experiments that are going on in El Paso.

Week 10
A) I believe the main concern will be having everyone meet at the same time and making sure that everyone’s opinion gets heard and feels like they are contributing to the group.
B) The best group work experience I had was when work could be divided up evenly so that everyone had something to do and not rely on someone else to complete their portion to begin their own. It gave everyone the opportunity to do the project in their own way so that when we grouped up we can all pick, vote, and discuss which way and we would put it all together.

W9 Tumblr Post
1) Describe the rhetorical choices you made in writing your research question in order to get an A on this assignment.
My visual included the reader in the the big question who is real and who is the dummy.
2)What patterns did you find in your research methodology?
The patterns that I found were youtube videos, transitioning to newspaper and finally scholarly articles.
3)Why do you think this methodology works? Does it always? Why?
This methodology worked because my topic was not controversial and it was a topic everyone can relate to in some way.
4) Select one of the questions listed and explain the rhetorical choices you made towards answering the question.
In the first question I choose the ricky martin wax figure picture to represent the idea of what the visual in the L.R was trying to say which was the audiences confusion of who/ which figure was real and which figure was not.

Week 6: Research Process
My research process has been pretty good. Working with one source/ article at a time. I’m really geared towards engineering databases with scholarly articles. I have a ton of newspaper articles and web based blogs/ postings sources from the genre analysis research.
My topic is engineering base. This website http://0-www.engineeringvillage.com.lib.utep.edu/search/quick.url is great for any engineering based topics.

Research Questions?
But honestly like others I believe it will be difficult to find information that isn’t biased towards my topic especially since the topic is based off a company and most of the research and information is given by that company. Another obstacle would be how I will present that information in conversation format.

What are the complexities of using genres?
Each genre express a topic in a different way for different reasons. Genres can be complex because you have to understand each genre to know which on one will effectively convey your message.
I chose this rhetorical approach because it is humorous and it is a visual of the term “complex” and the different forms of genres and how sometimes the writer does not know which genre to pick for their topic. I also included text to guide the image and gif into one concept.

Hey my name is Michelle Pacheco! I am a junior electrical engineering major. Um the gifs above say everything and more that I can possibly say about myself. At 20 I still wake up to saturday cartoons (pokemon) and spend saturday nights on netflix. I’m a really chill person who is destined to one day change the world.
