“No...but it would’ve been nice...” Blaine grinned, not that it mattered anymore, because he’d more than made up for that, and Blaine was beyond happy, no question of a doubt, he had the best husband in the world. He continued to sort out his outfit to wear that night after handing his husband his CD, wanting to look his absolute best, but Sebastian was still taking about the music, So Blaine just smiled and walked over to him, shrugging his shoulders a little in response. “They’re more romantic compared to my usual stuff,” he explained, which was why he’d thought it would be appropriate to give it to Sebastian today of all days. “You’re supposed to say that, you’re my husband, it’s part of your job to be biased,” he joked, not that he minded, having Sebastian on his side was the biggest ego boost he’d ever need, he’d never met anyone with as much confidence in him that Sebastian did. It was a good thing though, such a good thing, especially when Blaine started to doubt himself over something, Sebastian always new how to pick him up again, he had it down to an art now. “You’ll see what I mean though when you play it, it has a slightly different sound compared to my old stuff,” He knew Sebastian didn’t know too much about music, but he knew that he recognised good music when he heard it, and he valued his opinion more than anyone else, so if Sebastian didn’t like it, then that would be enough for Blaine to scrap it and start again.
Blaine chuckled quietly, giving Sebastian a little squeeze, “Right, I promised to be good, didn’t I?” he grinned, pressing a kiss to Sebastian’s neck, “Okay, I’ll be good, go shower so we can eat,” he laughed, nodding as Sebastian reminded him that they had dinner plans, which of course he was still excited about, a part of him still unable to believe that Sebastian had managed to get them into that place. While Sebastian was finishing up int he shower, Blaine set about preparing his husband’s final surprise, before getting dressed properly and picking up his comb and gel so that he could style his hair, he knew Sebastian would tell him otherwise, but there was no way that he was going out tonight without his curls secured behind the gel. He just couldn’t do it. As Sebastian slipped out of the shower and headed towards their closet, Blaine walked into the bathroom, scooping up some gel and applying it to his hair, combing his hair through it, until he was satisfied that he looked his best. He washed the remains of the gel off his hands, then moved to fix his bow tie, so that it was straight behind his neck, before hearing his name being called and moved to answer straight away, never one to keep Sebastian waiting.
He smiled, leaning against the door of their closet, eyes trailing hungrily over his husband, managing to pull himself together so that he could really pay attention to him. “Well, you already said that you were going to wear navy to match with this,” he shrugged, pointing to the bow tie around his neck, “What about something red? Like a deep red? I’m sure you’ve got something in here somewhere...?” Their closet was quite vast, and it had definitely doubled in size since they’d got married, but he supposed that was what happened, and when Sebastian was as keen to spend his money as he was, Blaine didn’t see that changing any time soon, as the other was always spoiling them both in some way.

Blaine’s expression brightened as Sebastian brought up their first anniversary, he couldn’t believe it had been that long since they’d been together, it honestly felt longer than that, because Blaine couldn’t remember life without Sebastian, and he really didn’t want to. “It feels longer than that,” Blaine mused playfully, “In a good way of course,” he added quickly, just in case Sebastian took it badly, though he didn’t think he would, they knew each other better than that now. It was funny really how his entire life had turned upside down in the space of a year and half, the time had just flown by, he really didn’t know where it had gone. He liked to think that Sebastian felt the same way, but he knew that it would take a lot for Sebastian to get as sentimental as that, so he wasn’t going to push him. He loved his husband, even with his sometimes stunted emotional state.
He glanced over his shoulder as Sebastian made that comment, and maybe he did feel a little foolish for not immediately thinking that they were from his husband, but it wasn’t like he could be blamed for thinking that way. “In my defence, I’d thought you’d forgot, you didn’t even mention it before you left this morning,” Blaine shrugged, grinning playfully at him before turning back to search through their closet again. He just wanted to look his absolute best tonight, they didn’t get a chance to go out very many places these days, what with Sebastian being so busy with school, their social life had taken a nose dive, but hopefully they could work on fixing that tonight. He just wanted a chance to dress up and enjoy themselves tonight, mostly because he didn’t know the next time they’d be able to enjoy themselves quite like this. As soon as he was finished selecting his outfit of choice, he picked up the disc from their bedside table, and moved over to join his husband on their bed, sitting on his knees in front of him, practically beaming with pride as Sebastian promised that he’d listen to them, because Sebastian’s opinions meant everything to him. “I’m not sure if they’re any good, they’re a little different from my usual stuff,” Blaine shrugged, glancing down at his hands in his lap, before looking up at his husband once more, smiling brightly at him.
He followed Sebastian off the bed, coming up behind him and wrapping his arms around his waist, nuzzling his nose into the curve of his husband’s neck, pressing a lingering kiss against his skin. “Hm...that’s a bad distraction...” Blaine hummed, barely lifting his head, lips curling into a little smirk, “Go shower, I’ll be waiting when you get out,” he told him, finally releasing his hold on him, and watching as his husband disappeared into the bathroom. Blaine knew that he wouldn’t take as long as Sebastian to get ready tonight, since he’d barely done anything all day, he just needed to get changed and style his hair, and he’d be good, which was why he decided to get changed as quickly as possible. He wanted to be ready and waiting for his husband once he finally emerged, plus while he was alone it could put his little surprise in place without the risk of getting caught. He was actually getting used to the lace against his skin now, probably because he wore them so often to keep his husband happy, but he definitely enjoyed it as much as Sebastian did, even if it was for completely different reasons.

Blaine let out a content sigh as Sebastian’s fingers tangled into his hair, and he knew that he should really make the most of it, what with them going out to dinner at a high end restaurant, he knew he’d have to gel it into place, he still wasn’t comfortable enough to get out with no gel, despite Sebastian’s protests. “That was definitely a good selling point for me, yes,” Blaine grinned, a playful glint in his eye, “But you know it was more than that, for me anyway, it was the first time I’d ever felt a connection that strong with someone, I knew then it was different,” He was glad that Sebastian remembered that night though, not that he ever doubted it, but it just shown how invested his husband was in their relationship. “That week was the longest I’ve ever had,” Blaine sighed softly, “Then, when I saw you at the airport, I knew that I was right about how I was feeling,” He’d never really believed in the whole love hitting you straight away until he’d met Sebastian, then Sebastian had changed his entire world for the better, and he couldn’t have been more grateful for it. He barely recognised that person he’d been when they’d first met, and that was definitely a good thing, he felt much more more confident in his own skin now.
He flushed a little when Sebastian knew exactly what he was thinking about without him having to actually say it aloud, a shy smile tugging at his lips as he glanced down at the floor, though it wasn’t like he had anything to side from his husband anyway. Sebastian always knew what he was thinking, he didn’t see that changing any time soon. He walked into their bedroom, placing the box onto their dresser before walking over to their closet to find something to wear tonight. He knew he had to look good, mostly because he always wanted to look good for his husband, but he also wanted to look good if they were going to a restaurant like that. He pulled out a pair of navy pants, a pair that he knew showed off his ass perfectly, then searched the closet for the shirt he’d been thinking about. It was crisp and white with navy stitching, and matching that with the bow tie, he knew he’d look good. “I’ve had a quiet day really,” Blaine shrugged, glancing over his shoulder and smiling at his husband, “Until you surprised me with those flowers, I was convinced they were for someone else in the building,” he laughed, shaking his head affectionately, “But, I did manage to finish this...” he picked up a CD that he’d left on their bedside table, he’d planned on showing it to Sebastian anyway, but since they’d been busy exchanging gifts, he thought now was as good a time as any, especially since most of the songs on there he’d dedicated to his husband. It helped that they were all new songs, so it wasn’t like Sebastian had heard any of them either. "You haven’t got to listen to it tonight, or even at all, I just thought you’d like to know that I finished it,”
He rolled his shoulders, walking over to one of their drawers, trying to find some underwear to wear, he thought about going for something classic, but when he spotted a pair of lacy panties that he knew Sebastian was particularly fond of, he knew he couldn’t resist. He wouldn’t tell him though, he’d let him find that out for himself, it would be his own personal surprise for his husband.

Blaine reached up, wrapping his arms around his husband’s neck, maybe Sebastian was right, maybe it had nothing to do with what day it was, it was more to do with how much it meant to Blaine. He could understand that, he really could, he was all for doing stupid things to keep Sebastian happy, so he supposed it worked both way. “I suppose it’s like me, and putting up with your love of snow,” Blaine hummed, tilting his head so that he could press a lingering kiss to the corner of Sebastian’s mouth, “You know what they say, fair’s fair,” he grinned, meeting Sebastian’s lips full on for a lingering kiss, “Oh of course, you don’t even have to ask,” he murmured, “I’m all yours, just say the word,” He knew that was Sebastian’s real gift, but the watch made a nice addition, Sebastian seemed to respond better to sex than anything else anyway. It was just how things worked between them, and it hadn’t failed them this far, so he thought it was safe to assume that they were good.
He laughed softly as he glanced up at Sebastian, who was still looking for clarification, but Blaine didn’t mind indulging him, he never did. “Well, I thought about having the date we first slept together engraved, but I thought that was a little too cliche, but I think the moment I really fell in love with you was that night you came with me to Robbie’s gig, you know, before you left for France?” he titled his head, waiting for a look of recognition to wash over his husband’s face, “I was terrified that you’d meet someone else while you were out there, that you’d maybe forget about me, we weren’t even anything serious back then, but I knew that I loved you, I just didn’t know how to tell you, because it was still early days between us, but I knew. I’ve always known,” He hoped that was enough of an explanation for him, as he didn’t think he could elaborate any further if he tried. That was their first real date though, as it was the first time they’d been out where nothing had gone wrong.
He rolled his eyes affectionately, because he really meant it when he said that they could try and get ready for once in their lives without having to rush, although if they couldn’t cope on their wedding day, he highly doubted they’d cope on a night like this. But, they were nothing, if not triers. He tilted his head to the side, sucking in a breath at the thought of Sebastian wearing a tie, and his imagination slipped into overdrive, it was just something he could never resist. “I already told you, I’m going to be on my best behaviour...” he told him, his voice filled with sincerity, “However, if I slip up, then you’ll just have to punish me, won’t you....?” he whispered, pressing a kiss to Sebastian’s jawline and stepping away, picking up his gift and disappearing into the bedroom, letting his words linger behind him. Maybe if he was lucky, they’d be able to use that very tie that Sebastian would be wearing to bind his hands together, because that was definitely a turn on. But hey, he wasn’t going to get too carried away with himself.

Blaine beamed with pride as Sebastian said that, because although he knew that he always tried to be on his best behaviour for Sebastian, it was always nice to see that it was appreciated. Because that was what it was all about, right? The reason he worked so hard to behave was for his husband, it would be pointless without it, he thought. “Hm, well I’m glad you noticed,” he hummed quietly, shivering a little when he felt Sebastian’s fingers teasing along his spine. He shrugged a little as Sebastian explained himself, and it wasn’t like he could really argue with that, if Sebastian wanted to spoil him, then he was hardly going to say no. Because that would cause an argument between them and unnecessary tension, and neither of them wanted that, and he definitely didn’t want Sebastian to think that he was ungrateful, because he wasn’t, far from it.  At least Sebastian knew the real reason that he loved him, and it wasn’t based on the size of his wallet, that was the most important thing anyway. “You’ve been spoiling me since we first started hooking up, I knew what I was getting into back then.” he told him, tilting his head slightly so that he could look into his husband’s eye, a playful glint in them.
“Maybe,” he shrugged, letting out a little laugh as he glanced down at the bow tie in question, “But I think I’d look best in this one, especially tonight,” He could wear some of the more colourful ones for work and on some of their other dates, but since tonight was a special occasion, he thought an understated look would be best. But, he could focus on putting his outfit together later when they were getting ready to go out, but right now he couldn’t wait to see Sebastian’s reaction to his gift. Sebastian seemed to like it though which was a good sign, considering how anxious he’d been when searching for something to give him. “No it’s not, you love it. You would’t have gone to all this trouble if you didn’t,” Blaine teased, shaking his head affectionately at his husband, he could claim he hated the holiday as much as he liked, but Blaine knew different. They’d barely even spent the last Valentines Day together, yet Sebastian had made sure that he’d had something to give to Blaine, so yeah, he couldn’t hate it that much. “The first date,” Blaine answered, barely even waiting for a beat to pass before answering, because he was hardly ashamed to admit it. They’d slept together, and Blaine had known there was something there between them, then as soon as they moved onto giving dating a try, he’d known then, he was in love, and there was nothing he could do about it. Luckily for him, Sebastian had felt the same way, it had just taken him a little longer than Blaine to realise it. “6:30 is a good time, it means we’re not rushing, because we do that far too often...” Blaine smirked, mostly because they always ended up getting distracted by each other, but maybe tonight they could break tradition and actually make it to dinner before falling into bed with each other? Then they could spend the night being completely wrapped up in each other, so that when they finally got home they could lose themselves in each other over and over again.

Blaine laughed softly at his husband, “Maybe I’ll surprise you one day, and use it myself,” he teased, he doubted it very much though, he wasn’t as smooth as his husband was, not by any means, but it would be entertaining for him to try at least. HIs eyes brightened at the thought of Sebastian in a tie, and he couldn’t help the way his imagination wandered, because he definitely loved the sight of his husband in a tie, almost as much as he enjoyed getting to take it off him at the end of the night. It was one of his favourite things, but it wasn’t something that he got to experience very often what with Sebastian generally refusing to wear one. “I’m not sure if that’s a promise I’m going to be able to keep...” Blaine grinned, reaching his arms up to wrap around his husbands neck, pressing a loving kiss to his husband’s jawline, letting his lips linger against him, losing himself for a moment, “You know I can’t resist a man in a tie, it’s like my kryptonite....” He nuzzled his nose against Sebastian’s neck for a moment before continuing, “I’ll try to be on my absolute best behaviour though....”
Blaine rolled his eyes affectionately at his husband as he said that, shaking his head a little at him, “See, when you say it like that, it makes it sound like you’re obliged to spoil me,” Which certainly wasn’t the case, at least in Blaine’s opinion, he loved Sebastian unconditionally, and it wasn’t based on the size of his bank balance either, but he knew there was no way he was ever going to be able to stop Sebastian spoiling him like he did, so he’d long given up trying, he just had to try and think of ways that he could keep up with him on the gift giving side of things.”I love when you spoil though,” he added, not wanting Sebastian to think that didn’t appreciate all that he did for him, because he did very much so. It probably explained why he was so touched by his own gift, because it shown just how well Sebastian knew him, because anyone could buy him a simple bow-tie and Blaine would’ve been grateful, but Sebastian had gone the extra mile and it was absolutely perfect. He smiled when Sebastian faltered a little when he asked him to choose one, he could understand why, since Sebastian never dictated to him what he could and couldn’t wear, and that was fine, but he wanted to look good for his husband, so he knew that if he wore something that Sebastian had decided then he could do the rest. He glanced down at Sebastian’s tie of choice and nodded, “Perfect, I have a shirt that would go with amazingly with it,” Not that he didn’t have anything to match with the rest, but considering where they were eating tonight, he thought something a little more low key would be more appropriate.
But, right now he was more than excited for Sebastian to open his gift, mostly because of the thought that had gone into it, and he’d thought he’d done a good job this time as well, so he couldn’t wait to see his husband’s reaction. “But that’s what Valentines Day is all about,” Blaine laughed, “Being ridiculously in love, and I thought it would be a nice reminder for you to remember the day I fell in love with you,” he told him, tilting his head just in time to meet Sebastian’s lips in a loving kiss, “So, what time did you say the table was booked for?”

“I knew it,” Blaine grinned, because after Sebastian’s surprise he’d started to wonder whether he knew his husband as well as he thought he did, which had been something of a scary thought for him, because he prided himself of knowing his husband like the back of his hand, so he was pleased now to see that everything had fallen back into place the way it should’ve been. He glanced back up at Sebastian as they joked about the flowers, even though Blaine loved them. “I don’t know what you mean,” he grinned, tilting his head so that his nose brushed alongside his husband’s, letting out a soft breath as he melted against him for a moment. Who needed tradition anyway, if this was what being untraditional got him. “You know, I say this a lot, but I don’t know how I ever got so lucky to find a man like you,” he breathed out, wrapping his arms around Sebastian’s waist, and pressing himself even closer to him. When they’d first met, Blaine would’ve never imagined Sebastian to be the romantic type, he just wasn’t that kind of guy, and Blaine accepted that, because romance was more his thing anyway, but Sebastian was constantly surprising him, even after all this time. Whoever said that romance was the first thing to go in a relationship, he’d never know, because they couldn’t have been more wrong.
Blaine laughed as Sebastian reminded him of his surname, but he did have a point, it just wasn’t something that they had to use very often, because they were more than content with their own lives, but it was nice that it came in handy every once in a while. “Hm? That means I’m a Smythe now, too. I wonder if it will have the same affect for me,” he grinned, glancing up at Sebastian with a little glint in his eye, not that he planned on using it anytime soon, he was just curious to what Sebastian would say. “You know me so well,” he laughed softly, “But that sounds perfect actually, it looks like you can handle tradition as well,” he paused for a moment, before continuing, “So, if we have to get dressed up, does that mean that you’ll be wearing a tie as well, because you know how feel about you in a tie...” he grinned, his voice trailing off as his imagination kicked in in full force. He just couldn’t help himself, he loved Sebastian no matter what, and he was always attracted to him, but seeing him in a tie was like the biggest turn on for Blaine, he couldn’t get enough of it.
Blaine’s eyes grew wide as Sebastian pressed his fingers against his lips, effectively silencing him, and he briefly wondered whether Sebastian was going to scold him for speaking out like that, but it didn’t come, which was good, because it would probably be something of a mood killer on Valentines Day of all days. “But you always spoil me...” Blaine murmured, glancing up at his husband again with a little smile, “But okay,” he nodded obediently glancing down at the little package in his hands and smiling softly at it. It really could be anything knowing Sebastian, but he wanted him to feel the same way, which was why he was quick to hand his husband his gift. He nodded softly when Sebastian explained that he wanted to see Blaine’s reaction before opening his own gift. He unwrapped the box, eyebrows shooting up in surprise when he saw what it was, unsure what to say for a moment, because it was probably the most perfect thing that he could’ve brought him. “I love it,” he grinned after a beat, glancing up at Sebastian again and laughing softly, “You pick one, whatever you choose, I’ll wear...” he wanted to look his absolute best for his husband, so whatever Sebastian wanted him to wear tonight, he’d wear. But now he wanted to see Sebastian’s reaction, so he nodded towards the small box in husband’s hands. “Your turn,” he encouraged. He’d put so much thought into what to get his husband, since he already had everything, then on his way from work one afternoon he’d passed a jewellers and spotted the perfect watch in the window, and he knew how amazing it would look on his husband’s wrist. He’d even gone to trouble of getting it engraved, which he thought Sebastian might find cheesy, but he didn’t care. “Now, I know it’s traditional to have our anniversary engraved on the back, but I had our first date engraved into it, because that was when I fell in love with you,”

“Well, when you left this morning without so much as mentioning it, what was I supposed to think?” Blaine grinned, he should’ve known really not to doubt his husband, if there was one person in this world who never let him down, then it was him. He briefly felt bad for thinking that Sebastian had forgotten, but the thought was quickly pushed aside, because it meant that they could finally spend a real Valentines Day together, and that was what he wanted the most after all. He laughed when Sebastian mentioned how the florist had tried to push roses on him, “Well, they are the more traditional flower,” Blaine reasoned, standing up on his toes so that he could kiss his husband a little better, “But, who needs traditional, when I have you?” he grinned, glancing back at the lilies sitting on the kitchen counter, loving how Sebastian had remembered that they were his favourites, despite him not having mentioned it in quite some time. He reached up, wrapping his arms around Sebastian’s neck as the other pulled him a little closer to him, their lips meeting in a loving kiss, and if this was as good as their Valentines Day was going to get, then Blaine would be happy. It had been acknowledged, not brushed aside as just another day, and that was more than good enough for him.
He glanced up at Sebastian in confusion when the other pulled away from him so quickly, as that hardly ever happened, but he quickly understood why, his eyes widening in surprise. “How did you manage to get reservations there?” he asked, not even trying to mask his shock, he knew how difficult it was to get in there, he could remember his father trying to get a reservation back when he still lived at home, and the fight he had to put up to secure a late dinner, and now here he was, about to celebrate Valentines Day with his husband at that very restaurant. He nodded quickly when Sebastian suggested getting ready, almost forgetting about his own gift in the process, because he was just so swept up in everything that Sebastian had done for him. He remained on the spot as Sebastian finally released his hold on him, turning around and picking up a little box that had been perfectly gift wrapped, and he smiled carefully reaching out and taking it from him. “Bas, you didn’t need to get me anything else...” he said softly, tips of his fingers carefully running over the paper, before glancing back up at his husband, corners of his mouth lifting into a little grin, before sliding his finger beneath the small slip of paper and tearing it open a little so that he could open the package. His movements stilled though, as he remembered his own gift, and he quickly turned around picking up the little package from the coffee table and handing it over to Sebastian, “Happy Valentines Day,” he smiled, holding his husband’s gaze for a moment, “Thought it would be nice if we opened them together....”

Valentines Day was one of Blaine’s favourite times of the year, aside from Christmas and Birthday’s of course, but ever since he’d been with Sebastian he’d found it difficult to gage how he really felt about the holiday. It wasn’t like they really needed a day to show their love for each other, because they did that on a daily basis anyway, but for Blaine, this actually meant something more. It was his chance to show the world how amazing his husband was, to show everyone just how much he loved him. Last years Valentines Day had been something of a wash out, what with Sebastian not actually being around for most of it, so they hadn’t got to celebrate in a more traditional way, but he hoped this year would be different. He’d been looking for the perfect gift ever since they’d gotten Christmas out of the way, especially since he knew that Sebastian wasn’t into a lot of the more typical Valentines gifts, which usually included a lot of pink. Yeah, that wasn’t Sebastian at all, so he’d continued to shop around, not that buying for Sebastian was ever easy, because what did you buy the man who already had everything? It was near impossible, but Blaine knew that there was no way that he could get away with not getting Sebastian anything, that just wasn’t who he was at all.
But, as Valentines Day rolled around, Sebastian had gotten out of bed and headed to class like normal, barely even mentioning what day it was, and Blaine had sighed in defeat, because maybe he was reading too much into the holiday, he knew that Sebastian didn’t believe in this kind of thing, so he hadn’t had the heart to mention it to him. Maybe he’d just give him the gift later that night when they were having dinner, just because didn’t really celebrate the holiday, it didn’t mean that Blaine couldn’t, it wasn’t like they had any rules that prevented him from doing so. He’d spent the majority of the day cleaning the apartment, he knew that Roxie was due in a couple of days or so, but Blaine always liked being able to help her if he could, and it wasn’t like he was really going out of his way. He wasn’t working today, mostly because he’d made sure that he wasn’t working today, just on the off chance that Sebastian remembered, and well, even if he hadn’t, he’d never say no to spending some time with his husband, he wasn’t a fool after all. He was halfway through hoovering the living area when he heard a knock at the door, he frowned turning the hoover off and running a hand through his hair as he headed towards the door, not really sure who it could be this time of day. When he opened the door however, he was completely stunned as a bouquet of lilies greeted him. At first he tried to argue that they couldn’t possibly be for him, but then after confirming his name - multiple times mind you - he accepted them and carried them through the kitchen to place them in some water, maybe his husband was more into this holiday than Blaine had given him credit for?
By the time Sebastian arrive home later that afternoon, Blaine had wrapped up his husband’s gift, placing it in the middle of the coffee table and was humming along quietly to one of his latest tracks when he heard his husband’s familiar voice. His smile doubled in size as he turned around, waiting for Sebastian to enter the room, a part of him still surprised over what had happened that day. “I’m through here!” he called back, a part of him wanting to tackle Sebastian in the hallway and never let him go, but he thought this way might be a little more dignified. “You’re definitely a man full of surprises, aren’t you?”
Valentine’s Day On The Green || Seblaine
The spring semester had really just begun, and already things were beginning to look better than they had the semester before. Now that Sebastian had both survived and excelled at his first semester, things were much, much easier. He actually let himself have a little more time at home, something that was more enjoyable now that he wasn’t as stressed about being able to handle his workload. He and Blaine could actually do things like watch a movie and have dinner and sex, yes, there was definitely more time for that too, much to both of their delights. It was nice, actually being able to focus on something other than overwhelming stress, especially after the whirlwind the past few months had been. And with that ability to focus came something to focus on: Valentine’s Day. He had known immediately that he wanted to treat Blaine, not that that was any kind of shocker. But after their last Valentine’s Day had been nearly ruined by his parents, he really wanted to be able to go all out this time. It was their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, after all, and he knew that had to mean something. So he made reservations nearly a month early between two of his classes, breathing a sigh of relief when he managed to snag a reservation at the Tavern on the Green. Sure, he probably wouldn’t have gotten them if he hadn’t dropped his last name, but what was being the son of a Congressman if you didn’t get to put it to good use sometimes? After that he called for flowers, which was actually more difficult that getting a reservation. The woman just kept trying to convince him that roses would be the best bet, and he nearly hung up on her before he was finally able to get the arrangement of lilies that he wanted. Who in the world would have thought it would be that difficult to get lilies for Valentine’s Day? Either way, he knew he was getting exactly what Blaine would want, and it would be even better since he had arranged for them to be delivered while he was at class. It was a good way to keep his husband on his toes, if nothing else. He just hoped that he liked them, since he hadn’t really thought to send flowers since, well, since before they had even actually been dating. Maybe that would just have to change now.
When the day finally did come, he had completely forgotten about it. He had been up late working on a case study and ended up rushing out of the apartment to get to his first class on time without even mentioning the holiday to Blaine. It wasn’t until he was sitting in class that he realized it was actually Valentine’s Day, and that he had a husband at home who probably thought he had completely forgotten about the holiday. Luckily the flower arrangement he had already called for would be delivered, and he was sure it would be a pleasant surprise to Blaine at home, maybe even a bigger surprise than the dinner reservations that he hadn’t exactly told him about. He had wanted it to be a surprise, after all, though now it was probably going to be even bigger of a surprise than he intended. Oh well. At least he had everything done that he needed to do today done, so he wouldn’t be in the same frantic tizzy that he was the night before. He could just spend the night with his husband and enjoy the holiday in the best way he knew how: flowers, presents, an incredibly fancy dinner, and then sex, though he supposed that wasn’t too different from a normal day. Or at least, he wished that he was able to spoil Blaine with that kind of attention every day. He went straight home after his last class, skipping his normal few hours that he spent in the library before going home. It was a holiday, after all, and he thought he deserved taking the afternoon off as much as he could. That and he had to get ready, and tell Blaine to get ready, if they were actually going to make that dinner reservation.
“B?” he called out as he entered the apartment, letting his backpack slide off of his shoulders and rolling them a little to relax them. Home. Finally. Time to get this party started.

Blaine nodded with a grin as they spoke about their honeymoon, “Yeah, I’m telling you, there was nothing else like it. I’ve always wanted to visit Europe, and I finally got to do it, but it felt even better than I thought it would, what with being a newly-wed and all that,” he shrugged, he was sure that Sam would understand when it was his turn, it wasn’t really anything that you could really put into words, it was definitely something that you had to experience for yourself. “Oh, well I’m sure you’ll figure something out soon,” Blaine shrugged, giving Sam a little smile. He supposed that was the difference between them and him and Sebastian, when Sebastian had proposed to him, they’d both decided that they hadn’t wanted to waste anymore time and get married to each other as soon as they possibly could, Sam and Quinn seemed different, in that they were happy to remain engaged, which was perfectly fine for some people.
“Yeah, but talking to her isn’t going to ruin anything for her, I mean, you’re engaged now, you’re supposed to talk about these things,” At least that was what he and Sebastian did together, if Blaine had any problems, then he’d immediately go and talk to Sebastian about it, and when Sebastian was stressed with school stuff, then he’d talk to Blaine, and in their experience it had made their relationship stronger, maybe it was just something that Quinn and Sam had to get better at, that was his theory anyway.
He laughed when Sam said that, as he could see that he was trying to help, “I mean, he’d never force me to quit, he just thinks that I could do better, it’s not as if we really need the money that I get from working here, and if I wasn’t here then I could focus more time on my music,” he explained, not wanting him to think that Sebastian was trying to control him too much, “I know he’s got a point, but I don’t know if I’m ready to give up this place just yet,”

Blaine rolled his eyes fondly at his husband, because out of the two of them, he knew that he was more open with his words than Sebastian was. He knew that his husband was more into showing him how much he loved him, rather than telling him, it was one of their biggest differences. “Hm...well maybe I should tell you again...” Blaine hummed, trailing his hand gently along Sebastian’s side, tracing out soft little patterns into his skin. He met Sebastian’s lips in a soft, loving kiss, a soft little sigh falling from his lips in contentment because he honestly couldn’t think of anything else more perfect right now. “Well, go on then,” Blaine grinned when Sebastian pulled away, his eyes flicking up to meet his husband’s, a playful expression on his face, wondering whether Sebastian would actually rise to the bait or not. Not that he ever felt unloved by the other, because in all the time they’d been together, he hadn’t, it was just nice to hear those words ever now and then. Besides, the last few weeks had been tough on them both, even if again, Sebastian hadn’t vocalised it, Blaine knew, he thought that this week would be perfect to reaffirm their love for each other in every way possible.
He playfully swatted Sebastian’s side as he started teasing him, “Shut up,” he pouted, rolling his eyes at his husband, because he’d really been trying hard recently, and all he wanted to do was impress his husband and have him be proud of him. He secretly wanted to learn enough so that he could cook a proper meal for them both whilst Sebastian was at school, so that he could really surprise him, but he had a feeling that would take a while yet. But that desire to please Sebastian was still running strongly within him, he couldn’t help himself. “Hm, nothing gets past you, does it?” Blaine grinned, when it became clear that Sebastian wasn’t really paying attention to him, so he was glad that the suggestive tone to his voice had gotten through to him all the same. A small sound left his lips as Sebastian quickly rolled them over, leaving Blaine staring up at him in awe, corners of his mouth lifting into a little grin. He arched himself up slightly, lips parting as they met with Sebastian’s, eyes sliding shut as he felt his husband’s fingers running through his hair, a definite way of getting Blaine going once more. “Good thing we’ve got all day to explore them then, huh?” Blaine breathed out when they finally pulled away from each other, his voice soft and barely audible as he glanced up at his husband once more. Maybe they’d get a chance to catch up on things that they hadn’t been able to do over the last few weeks, making their relationship stronger than ever before. They had all their things boxed up in the back of their closet, things they hadn’t been able to use because they’d been so busy with their own schedules, and he had a wave of excitement rush through his busy at the thought of using everything again, once more.

It never failed to amaze Blaine just how much he truly loved his husband, not that he could ever forget, but in moments like this when the rest of the world didn’t matter, he could feel himself falling for the other man over and over again and there was no other feeling like it in the world. He hummed softly against Sebastian’s lips, his thumb skimming gently against his face as his lips parted perfectly to grant his husband access to his mouth. His body practically melted beneath him, eyes sliding shut as a wave of emotions swept over them. He knew that neither of them did well with distance, but with Sebastian being so busy with his studies recently, the distance between them seemed to have grown considerably, and it had been unsettling to say the least, but hopefully, being able to spend time together like this again, it would reaffirm their love for each other.  “Have I told you lately how much I love you?” Blaine whispered, once they absolutely had to pull away from each other for fear of losing their breath. He kept his eyes fixed on his husband though, wanting him to feel the sincerity behind his words, because Blaine meant every single word he said.
“I’m getting better!” Blaine protested, though he made no attempt to move, lips quirking up into a grin, “I’ve had to learn to feed myself when you’ve been busy with your study sessions, after all,” he shrugged, explaining himself to Sebastian when the other looked so surprised. He’d thought it would be nice to treat him, to show him what he was really capable of, because he’d had to find something to occupy himself with while Sebastian had been so busy, apparently Sebastian wasn’t all that bothered which was slightly disappointing. “Hm...okay, if you’re sure,” Blaine conceded, because it wasn’t like he was going to cause an argument about this, it definitely wasn’t worth it, not after the amazing start to their day. “And how exactly should I convince you?” he asked, rolling onto his side so that he could look up at Sebastian properly, his voice dropping into that lower tone that he knew his husband enjoyed so much. “Because you know, I’m always willing help you in any way that I can...” he let the suggestive tone of his voice linger around them, before tilting his head so that he could capture Sebastian’s lips with his own, pouring all of his love for the other into it. “Now...there’s an idea, there’s quite a few things we could just lying in bed all day, the possibilities are endless....”

It didn’t take any time at all for Blaine to shift a little closer to his husband, nuzzling his head affectionately against his chest, still craving that affection, even now, but he couldn’t help himself, he craved it all the time when Sebastian was around, he blamed his husband completely for that. He hummed contently as Sebastian propped himself up slightly so that he could look at him properly, and he let out a content little sigh. “Mhm, makes the heart grow fonder,” he whispered, his voice soft yet at the same time slightly hoarser than usual, he didn’t mind though, because he knew by now that Sebastian wouldn’t judge or laugh at him, he just accepted it as part of who Blaine was. He smiled, eyes sliding shut as Sebastian closed the gap between them, raising a hand to cup his cheek in his hand as their lips met in a loving kiss, the desperation between them pretty much gone, but the love was still there. He felt himself melting the second their lips met, letting out a soft sigh into his husband’s mouth as his lips parted, their tongues moving together and there was nowhere else that he’d rather be, and for the first time in months, there was nowhere that they had to be. He knew there was a reason he enjoyed the holidays so much.
“You hungry?” Blaine asked as they finally broke apart, his eyes open just enough to meet with Sebastian’s, “I could make us some pancakes?” he suggested, “I’ve got pretty good at them,” Mostly because he’d been trying really hard to impress Sebastian recently, what with him always being so busy, he’d been trying to think of new ways of getting his attention, plus Blaine really liked pancakes, so it made sense to learn to cook something he liked. He also felt like he still had some making up to do to his husband, which was probably stupid, but he couldn’t help it, he hated the look on Sebastian’s face the night before, and he never wanted to see it again, so he was going to do everything he could to ensure that never happened. “It also means you don’t have to get up out bed, we could stay here all day if we wanted....”

Blaine thrived when Sebastian took all control from him, he didn’t even worry about Sebastian hurting him anymore - not that he had much before - but he needed this just as much as Sebastian needed him. He didn’t even bother fighting against him, instead allowing the other to press him firmly back into the bed, and loving the wave of adrenaline that coursed through his veins at the feeling. Sure, this was supposed to be about him proving that he could take care of Sebastian in the way that he deserved, but this was normal for them and they couldn’t be blame for falling into old habits, it was just what they did after all. His cried became longer as Sebastian used it to his advantage, nailing him over and over again in that one specific place, and he just couldn’t get enough of them. He nodded frantically, glancing up at Sebastian as he fought to catch his breath, because knew that Sebastian knew exactly what he needed, he always did and he’d never failed to disappoint him yet, and he didn’t think he ever would.
He groaned loudly as Sebastian skimmed his thumb over the tip of his cock, lolling his head back as his body gave over completely to his husband. He squeezed his eyes shut tightly, his muscles clenching tightly around Sebastian’s cock as his movements became more and more erratic. He so badly wanted this to last, for it to never end and get their Holiday celebrations off to the best possible start, but he knew as well as his husband did that nothing lasted forever, even something as incredible as this, and as he felt his husband hitting his release, filling him completely, he followed shortly after, releasing all he had to offer into his husband’s hair, a hot sticky mess between them. He rode out his orgasm, his eyes filled with bright white spots, until he finally slumped back against the bed, feeling completely and utterly spent, his body never wanting to leave the confinement of their bed every again. “Oh God...” he panted, lifting a hand up to cover his eyes, the room feeling far too bright for him at the moment while he tried to centre himself, “If you getting sick leads to that, then I think we’re going to have to rethink a couple of things...”

Blaine reacted immediately to Sebastian tugging at his hair, something that had never failed to get him going before, and it definitely had the same reaction again this morning. He groaned loudly, moving his head against his husband’s hand, his eyes sliding shut as their lips crashed together in a kiss that neither of them could handle, yet at the same time, neither of them wanted to give up either. He melted in Sebastian’s arms, his thrusts becoming more and more erratic as he continued to sink down on his husband, unable to control himself in a way he hadn’t felt in so long. He wanted this all the time, where they could get lost in other over and over again without having to worry about any other commitments, it sounded like the perfect life to him, and he didn’t think that Sebastian would take much persuading, especially in moments like this, where he had a feeling he’d agree to anything.
He fell back against the bed with a loud grunt, eyes fluttering shut as he reached up to capture Sebastian’s lips with his own, needing this moment to centre himself again, though it was near impossible with Sebastian keeping their rhythm the same, pounding into him like his life depended on it. “That’s true, don’t know how I ever forgot,” he grinned up at him, words trailing off and replaced with a lewd moan as he reached up to tangle his fingers into his husband’s hair, just needing him to be as close to him as possible, teeth sinking into his bottom lip as he moved his hips to match Sebastian’s rhythm wanting to take him as deep as possible, crying out as the head of Sebastian’s cock collided with his sweet spot, sending a wave of passion sweeping through his body. “Fuck....” he cried, arching his back up off the bed, pressing his chest firmly against his husband’s. He buried his head into the crook of Sebastian’s neck, sinking his teeth into the flesh as Sebastian wrapped his fingers around his aching cock, not sure how much more of this he could take. “Bas....” he moaned, eyes fluttering shut, breath coming out in frantic pants, “Bas...I need...I need...”

It had been quite a while since they’d really given themselves over to each other like this, just giving into their instincts and not having to think about anything else, and it was glorious. Blaine was revelling in this new role of his, even though he knew it wasn’t a permanent fixture - and he’d never expect it to be -  he still enjoyed having this opportunity to truly take care of his husband, to cater to his every need, as it was usually the other way around. He’d wanted to take things slowly, to really draw things out between them, but judging by the way Sebastian was already moaning he knew that wasn’t an option. He continued to nibble against the curve of his husband’s neck, roughly sucking on the nub of skin between his teeth, desperately wanting to leave his mark as a wave of adrenaline surged through his body. He rarely had a chance to leave his mark, and yet he was always covered in little bruises, not that he minded but he wanted to leave some sort of reminder for his husband, to remind him exactly what he was capable, and maybe just maybe, Sebastian would give him permission to do this more often, because it was surprising just how much he was truly enjoying himself.
In next to know time, he was desperately bounding along his husband’s cock, taking as much of him as he could, and still wanting more. He was just so addicted to Sebastian that too much was never enough, in fact it just spurred him on even further. Sebastian was the only person to ever make him feel like that, and he supposed that was what happened when you finally met your soulmate. Their kiss started to feel more and more desperate, a mixture between tongue and teeth, and Blaine groaned loudly against his husband’s lips, before throwing his head back with a loud moan as he pounded down onto his husband’s cock. All of his senses had been heightened and he could feel everything from Sebastian as well, every breath, every grunt, every little moan, he could feel it all and it was the absolute biggest turn on for him. He lifted himself up a little, wrapping his arms tightly around Sebastian’s neck, pressing their bodies firmly together, slowing his movements down a little more so that he could feel every little thing of his husband, sliding down and taking him entirely inside of him, capturing his lips in a passionate kiss, despite him already struggling for breath, but he couldn’t help himself. He needed this like he needed air.
He was initially caught off guard as Sebastian switched their positions, landing back against the bed with a soft thud, teeth nipping at his husband’s lips as he reached up and wrapped his arms around him once more. “Knew you couldn’t hold out for much longer,” he murmured against Sebastian’s lips, head lolling back as Sebastian continued to thrust into him.

A little smirk tugged at Blaine’s lips as he saw the reaction that Sebastian had to his little moans and he wished he could do this for him more often, to have him sit back and let Blaine take care of things for a change, because he knew he was definitely capable of rendering his husband speechless, and the way he looked right now was amazing, there was nothing else like it in the world for him. His fingers continued to move deep inside of himself, his eyes fluttering shut as he allowed himself to enjoy this brief moment, to focus on what he wanted right now. He knew he wasn’t allowed to touch himself without Sebastian’s permission, and with his husband being so preoccupied recently, Blaine hadn’t really had the chance to feel like this, so he was definitely making the most of it right now, he might’ve even been getting a little carried away with himself, until he heard Sebastian’s breath catch in his throat like that and bring him back into the room.
He quickly turned his attention back to his husband, wrapping his fingers around his husband’s cock, giving him a few rough strokes, his eyes flicking up to meet his husband’s once more, barely able to contain himself. Things were getting intense between them now and it was only going to get stronger from here on in. His eyes fluttered shut as Sebastian nipped at his lips, and he knew that he was getting impatient now, that he needed so much more than what he was currently giving him, and as good little sub, all Blaine could do was comply with him. He released his grip on his cock, instead lining him up with his entrance, and placing his free hand on Sebastian’s shoulder to give himself a little leverage as he lowered himself down on top of him, taking his length whole. He moaned at the feeling, feeling his muscles beginning to stretch around him, he leaned forward, burying his head into the crook of Sebastian’s neck as he heard his name echoing around the room, teeth grazing roughly against his skin, before finally allowing himself to pull back a little more, once he’d adjusted to the sudden intrusion.
He began building up a quick rhythm that would benefit the two of them, lifting his other arm to hook at the back of his husband’s neck, making it easier for him to fuck himself against Sebastian’s waiting cock. His lips crashed against Sebastian’s, pouring out all of the desperation that he had into it, knowing that he needed to feel as physically close to his husband as possible, he had so much to make up for and this, right here, was just the beginning.
