Hi do you have any advice for finding local artist events? (Particularly free/cheap to go to) I'm looking to get into more of it cause I think it'd be fun ^^

tbh some of my favorite events I've been 2 are things my tiktok fyp recommend so shout out to the great and all knowing algorithm

I've found some community theater stuff like that and also sometimes artist alley events or local market days etc unfortunately it does kind of Cost Money in the sense that most of these things r vendor fairs but I like to just get a couple things I'm sure I'll use and then collect business cards and fliers for everything else so I can use them for junk journaling

today I got a scented candle in a cute jar that I'm gonna use to store art supplies once I've burned the candle. also an upcycled shirt for 5 dollars yippeeee

I also bought a homemade treat from a vendor I'd actually met before at a different event and I got to show her that I used her business card for one of my sketchbook pages and she rlly liked it ^-^

LOL yeah I absolutely am (not that it's really in my control anyway) it makes me rlly happy that people still get enjoyment out of my old projects. I look back on them now with a certain level of painful self consciousness bc I've since developed a taste for a bit more. subtlety in my writing lol. but tbh the games weren't made for me they were made for dsmp lovers and if there are still people who love the characters enough to play silly visual novels about them I think that's awesome ❤️
