Vintage Steamboat · 50x50 · CC Linked

This steamboat, inspired by the SS Sudan and Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile, has two second-class cabins, one luxurious first-class cabin, crew/captain’s quarters, galley, storage, an interior lounge, dining room, and bonus open air bar and lounge on the top deck.

Furnished with 1930’s Art Deco style and inspired by Egypt, this boat could be a boutique hotel, bar, restaurant, or private residence for your Sims.

Special shout out to @lilis-palace who created so much of the beautiful vintage CC in this build. Links to her sets (and all the CC used) are included below.

Yes, my hotel just dropped, but I couldn't wait to share my next release. Despite our lack of Egyptian-type world with convenient Nile River lots, you'll soon be able to sail with Poirot... vintage steamboat dreamboat!

Grand Hôtel Tartosa · 50 x 40 · CC [Linked] · Bar/Hotel

Boasting four beautiful suites, le Grand Hôtel Tartosa is where all who want true luxury gather to enjoy the seaside. The hotel's amenities include a seaside pool terrace, al fresco bar and restaurant, lobby bar, spa, and gym.

The tray file is set up as a bar, but with mods or the new Business and Hobbies pack, you can set this up as a true boutique hotel experience. My own recolors of the Felixandre Chateau Metal Railings are linked below for download. You will need the original files!

Heavily inspired by the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.

Can we get Create-a-World yet?

God, I'm absolutely obsessed with the idea of creating a vintage steamship a la SS Sudan, living out my Death on the Nile fantasies, but it's so jarring to work on a build that doesn't jive with the world it's in.

We need customization! Flexibility for historical gameplay! The option for a mix of water and land lots! TS4 is a beautiful game but so limited in that aspect.

Community Lot Poll

With the upcoming release of my Riviera hotel build (super fun!) it got me thinking of other community lot styles. I've been watching a few docs / films feature luxury hotels and am pretty inspired. These lots could function as spas, bars, restaurants, apartments, or hotels depending on what packs you have and how creative you get.

Riviera hotel will be out soon, I expect this week. I haven't been idle - I think this latest iteration is the best one. Unfortunately due to the size of the lot I had to scrap the tennis court, but this hotel will have a bar, an al fresco restaurant, a spa, gym, and pool area!

Little update...

Hello, yes, it's me, I'm here... I've been travelling and recovering from an illness, so not much time to build lately.

Promise I'm still working on the Riviera Hotel - I'm on version 5 now due to the save file issues and, after having started over before, I found the rear of the hotel just wonky and unusable. Still trying to make the exterior look and interior floorplan mesh, so just taking my time to make it as good as it can be. In the meantime taking short breaks here and there to decompress and experiment with some other builds. Right now toying with an art deco apartment complex, an art nouveau villa, and my yacht club.

Updating is always such a headache! I totally understand... It takes me a day or two to fix everything after an update, and that's not counting the time for amazing mods to be updated by creators 😭 If you have a specific build you'd like with only certain packs to use, let me know!

I'm always inspired when reading about a home that is a character in itself! The list is quite long...
