so i watched hick like two weeks ago and i’ve wanted to do a hitchhiker plot ever since. except nothing like the movie because that was creepy as fuck (i didn’t read anything about it before i watched it and i totally wasn’t expecting that oh my god). basically a girl decides to runaway and hitchhikes a ride with this guy. their personalities will clash and he’ll threaten to kick her out of the car more than once and they’ll just be sarcastic and sassy and perfect. yes?

plot bunny post #oo1 - a few random ideas that most likely won't be made into full plots but, if you're interested, we can talk it out. (◕‿◕✿)

MERMAIDS - Inspired by this. Maybe some kind of alternate universe where mermaids exist, but are kept captive (at like a zoo or something similar) for the enjoyment of humans? A star-crossed lovers kind of thing. You feel me?

FLUFFY PUPPY - This is just to satisfy my need for fluff. A couple breaks up and both parties are unwilling to give up ownership of their dog. They begrudgingly agree to share custody of the pooch and they go for walks together with the dog and take it to the dog park and eventually end up falling back in love. Just pure fluff basically. I don't, man, I just like fluffy plots.

SUPERPOWERS (V1) - Girl has been struggling with her powers for the past few years. She has the ability to manipulate plants which is fine and dandy with her (because wow nature is cool man!) but she also has this really bad habit of poisoning everyone she touches. So she just grows her flowers and keeps to herself and doesn't let anyone close to her. But then dude comes along and she really likes him and, hard as she tries to push him away, he just keeps coming back. But it's all good because he's gifted with reactive evolution (like Darwin from X-Men: First Class).

SUPERPOWERS (V2) - So in this one they aren't just gifted, they are actually superheroes. Except the girl isn't a hero... she's a villain and her super-powered nemesis just so happens to be her boyfriend. Basically she's a sweetheart by day and a crazy, violent, badass criminal by night. And her boyfriend has no fucking clue.

WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING - You know that movie with Sandra Bullock and Sandy Cohen Peter Gallagher? I want that. Except without the brother and the guy won't be such a douche. If you haven't seen the movie, I'll try to explain. Basically this girl is infatuated with this guy who comes to her workplace on a consistent basis. She's never talked to him and he basically doesn't know she exists, but she considers herself in love with him. He gets in some kind of accident near her workplace and she saves him and takes him to the hospital. At the hospital she finds an engagement ring in his pocket and tries it on. When people see her with the ring they think she's his fiance (she's too shocked to set them straight). The guy wakes up with memory issues, sees the ring and assumes that she's his fiance. She plays along despite feeling really guilty about it. In the movie she gets with the guy's brother but I don't want that. Eventually she'll tell him the truth and things will get awkward, but he'll forgive her and they can start over. Wow that was long.
