Newsomberg Fact #118: All discerning Andy stans know two things about his glasses.

1. He's at his most beautiful when wearing them

2. He's something of a creature of habit when it comes to his choice of frames

It's been almost a decade since his early-era SNL specs were replaced by the fan favorite Sol Moscots, which he alternates with the occasional appearance featuring his gala Warby Parkers

So it felt like a rare treat to see him debut two new pairs in the run-up to his hosting gig at the 2019 Golden Globes

Eagle eyed observers have noticed, however, that he's barely worn either of these new frames since.

The reason? Baby Newsomberg.

As it turns out, she also has a marked preference for Andy's Sol Moscots, so much so that whenever he wore a new pair of glasses in front of her, his daughter - seemingly perturbed that he no longer looked like Papa - would instantly remove them and attempt to hide them away.

Over the course of the few weeks after he purchased them, they found their way under the couch, inside a toy chest, and even into the refrigerator, until eventually Andy got the message and conceded "Ok, little lady - you win. Old specs it is".

So what became of the new frames? At present, and much to Andy and Joanna's amusement, they're adorning the faces of two of Baby Newsomberg's favorite teddy bears - lending an unmistakable air of class to the tea parties she likes to throw for her toys!

Newsomberg Facts - 10th Anniversary Countdown Edition #1:

Andy once told Busy Phillips, during an interview on her since canceled talkshow, that Joanna enjoys teasing him for the 'whispers on sosch' about his 'glow-up'.

Of course, real ones (especially Joanna) know that he's been consistently gorgeous forever.

That said, the Newsombergs have undergone one significant glow up since 2017. Whilst their daughter's arrival was leaked via pap photos and only confirmed by the couple in response, the arrival of their son was announced by none other than Andy's childhood hero, Weird Al, who - in explaining Andy's absence from the 'semi-autobiographical' masterpiece 'Weird' stated:
